    VUDU and UV Locker Problems

I recently noticed that the UV redemption of two TV season purchases I made on Blu-ray a few years ago redeemed in SD only. I contacted VUDU about this and was told that both seasons were redeemed through Flixster, and that I needed to contact Flixster.

I contacted Flixster and they sent me an e-mail saying they added them. I kept looking and not seeing any changes, so I informed them of it. They ended up adding them several different times before I finally looked on the Ultraviolet website and realized that while I had SD UV copies of both seasons listed on my UV account from my redemption on Flixster years ago, I also had SD and HD copies of the individual episodes listed on my UV account. Whenever I click on one of these episodes, it shows that Flixster truly did add them to my account multiple times.

Here's my problem though. On VUDU, one of the TV seasons shows that I own it in SD, but whenever I click on each individual episode, it shows that I own it in SD and HDX. On VUDU, the other TV season shows that I own the season in SD, and whenever I click on the individual episodes, it also shows that I only own it in SD, yet my UV account shows that I own SD and HD copies.
    1. "Shameless: The Complete First Season" - VUDU shows that I own the entire season in SD, but individual episodes show up as being owned in SD and HDX.
    2. "Chuck: The Complete Fifth Season" - VUDU shows that I own the entire season in SD, and individual episodes show up as being owned in SD only.

Can VUDU help give me access to my HD copies of "Chuck" and have it so that my VUDU account can show that I actually have the entire season of "Shameless: The Complete First Season" in HDX?

For what it's worth, I have already unlinked and relinked my Ultraviolet account on VUDU several times with no changes.

Re: VUDU and UV Locker Problems

For months, I have gone back and forth with Flixster and VUDU, and each side is saying I need to contact the other side, but nothing ever gets fixed.

Flixster has reset the codes for both series, but VUDU does not redeem UV copies of either series anymore.

PLEASE HELP before I pull all my hair out!!!

when you redeem a season set anywhere but vudu it will not show that you own the season even though it will show you own all the items in the season, same thing if you redeem a 4 film favorites code on flixster it will show 4 seperate titles on vudu but if you redeem it on vudu it will show as a bundle and save

There are a handful of tv season releases that insert a single entry for the season into your UV library. Most of these are older, such as The Big Bang Theory season 1, 2, 5, and 6.

Unfortunately the majority of releases, well over 90% I would guess, insert individual episodes into your UV library.

So if you do not redeem the code directly in vudu, you will see the individual episodes owned but not the season. There is nothing vudu can do about the way a code redeems, especially via another service (this really becomes an issue for codes that vudu does not offer redemption for that you must redeem on another service).

This is a very unfortunate design flaw

I truly hope vudu is able to someday show a season as owned if you own all of the episodes, this is my #1 vudu wish

I'd suggest episodes for a season should be together even if you did not purchase the entire season. I can't see a case to have dozens of episodes scattered around in my library.

I redeemed both of these titles years ago when I purchased the Blu-ray releases, and they showed up as full seasons, but when I redeemed them, they only redeemed in SD. I contacted Warner Bros. about this earlier this year, and they added the episodes individually in HD. The episodes of "Shameless" appeared as being owned in HDX, but the season was shown as being owned in SD only.

"Chuck: Season Five" showed that I owned the season in SD, but never showed that I owned the episodes in HDX, until a few days ago... MONTHS after WB added them.

Heck, Flixster still lists both seasons as being SD.

On VUDU, strangely enough, while "Shameless" shows that I own the season in SD, and the individual episodes in SD and HDX, VUDU no longer shows that I own "Chuck: Season Five" in SD, and the individual episodes only show up as HDX.

"Shameless: Season One" and "Chuck: Season Five" are the only two instances I have of TV shows that have not shown up as full seasons on VUDU. I have codes that I can redeem for these two titles, but VUDU no longer redeems these seasons.
