The Vudu Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Vudu experience. Here, Vudu customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Vudu and Vudu -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Vudu customers with questions and/or problems with their Vudu service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Vudu Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Vudu Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Vudu reserves the right to refrain from posting and/or to remove user comments, including comments that contain any of the following:

1. Obscenities, defamatory language, discriminatory language, or other language not suitable for a public forum
2. Email addresses, phone numbers, links to websites, physical addresses or other forms of contact information

    Failed Login Message

    I have been having failed login messages start popping up today despite my being able to reset my password successfully. I have tried 3-4 times and continue to receive this message. Please help!

      I'm having the same problem with Vudu for Android on my Oneplus 5 phone. I can login to Vudu on the Chrome browser but not the App. I get the login failed message and then my account gets locked for 30 minutes. Please help.

        What is your build number?
        What version of the Vudu application are you running?


        If this all fails, can you please download the follow app from the GooglePlay store so we can get some detailed info on your phone's capabilities. This app will create a text file with this information. PM me this information when you can, thanks.

              I am having the same issue. No problems logging into account on any browser - Edge, Chrome, Firefox. But Vudu Android app on my Android 8.1 tablet says "Login failed"

                I believe the reason for the "Failed Login" is due to the Android browser being used rather than using the Vudu app.

                For example, the phone service I use gives me a free movie. I go through the process and then asks what movie service I use. I click the VUDU link and it sends me directly to the login page through the browser, and as I stated I get a login failure. The issue, even if you have the VUDU app opened, the 2nd party movie provider link does not recognize this and VUDU does not seem to like the Android web browser at the login page. Basically, purchases outside of VUDU is frowned upon.
