    VUDU app on Sony Z9F, A9F, Z9D

The VUDU application on the Sony displays has a programming error when pausing or attempting to edit picture mode settings when viewing DolbyVision or HDR10 content. The Sony television exits the HDR/DV picture mode making it impossible to edit the HDR/DV settings for these titles (such as brightness, contrast, dynamic range etc..). Many of the native android apps on the Sony work properly so that when you pause an HDR/DV title, the tv remains in HDR mode and the settings can be edited.

I have this same issue with my A1E and hope that Team Vudu places their android tv app back to the Apps (video) sub section so we can have native framerate resolution (24hz/120hz) and the ability to enter into the action menu for Dolby Vision and HDR and enter our preferred calibrated settings.

It is an Apps( Video). The problem is that it stops the movies and gets out of HDR mode when it stops.

Any adjustments you make in the Prime Video App transfers to Vudu. So you have to set with HDR mode you want to use in Prime Video and then it uses that in Vudu. That's one option.

They switched it out of Apps (video) into plain Apps what the music apps use and Dolby is in the Neutral color temp and we cant get to change it out due to their implementation....Go to the vudu app and hit action menu and you will see that it just says Apps..

Yeah, thats our complaint, that in Apps we cant make any adjustments in Dolby Vision or HDR because the video pauses and kicks back into sdr mode when we try to adjust anything, unlike with Apps (video) we can make all of our adjustments per norm...
