Ultraviolet Shutdown and your Vudu Linked Account

BY JUNE OF 2019 ULTRAVIOLET WILL BE SHUTTING DOWN! This is an important issue regarding your Ultraviolet and Vudu Accounts. Please take time to read this post to the end. I know many of you out there have digital copies that came from Ultraviolet and have been linked to Vudu for some time even if you do not realize it. It can even be a large portion of your library depending on how long you've been collecting. From what I've heard your titles are safe and will still be accessible in Vudu. But Ultraviolet also offered an option to share your library with up to 5 close friends or relatives provided they registered and signed up for their own Ultaviolet and Vudu accounts. Now that they are shutting down though, this option may no longer be available or protected. So this message is to let others know to share and request that Vudu will start offering this share ability the same with up to 5 people, as do many other providers of service are doing, and as ultraviolet once did. If you know people in the chain of command at Vudu I implore you to stand up for this option and allow us to link with our own small groups. As long as they are Vudu members as well, this could only benefit Vudu, and help to promote its name worldwide as the best online provider of movies today! Thanks for your time and consideration. #loveyourdigitallife

It doesn't mean anything at all as far as I'm concerned, if my friends and family want to watch something they can pay for it themselves. I've never been able to figure out why anyone would want to share their movie and television collection with anyone anyway. It would just end up being one huge invasion of privacy.

I don't really see how sharing my movie library with my own children, spouse, parents and siblings is an invasion of privacy. Not doing so yourself isn't exactly selfless but it's your prerogative. But subtly criticizing those who choose to, is pretty...
