    Movies not playing in UHD

    My UHD movies are not playing on the Vudu app on Tivo. Not sure if this is an issue with Tivo or the app, but figured I would try here first. And yes, I have a UHD capable setup...my tv is a Toshiba Fire TV, 4K and HDR ready. My Tivo Bolt is 4K capable. Even my HDMI cords are 4K compliant. And I ran a speed test on Vudu which indicated my internet was more than able to handle streaming 4K content. And yes, the Vudu app has UHD selected as the default playback definition. At first I thought it might have been something wrong with some movie rights certificate not processing or an issue with movies from only one studio, but I've played movies from the Fire TV menu with no issues and the issue seems to happen with any UHD movie, no matter whether it's Disney, Universal, or WB. The Vudu app on my phone also plays them just fine so it has to be the Vudu app on Tivo as far as I can tell.

    So when I select a UHD movie and hit play, it pops up with the picture of the movie and has the spinning circles to indicate it's processing. It does that for a second or two, goes black, goes back to the spinning circles, then goes to the "rate this movie" section as if I'd just finished watching the movie even though nothing played. I would really like to enjoy watching my movies in UHD on my Tivo which is our main entertainment hub. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

    I just tried a couple of Vudu titles (Spider-man Into the Spider-Verse & The Longest Ride) and they both worked just fine in UHD. What model of TiVo do you have and did you downgrade the UI to the older version? The Vudu app on TiVo only works with a Bolt and under the newer Hydra UI.

      I unplugged the Tivo and tried it again. It works now, but hopefully I won't have to do that often because that was kinda annoying.

        It's a Tivo Bolt. Not sure what you mean by downgrade the UI to the older version, how do I do that? Not even sure what version it has currently. And yes, three months later and this issue is *STILL* happening. A response from a Vudu rep would be nice
