UV movies ported to Vudu missing from Movies Anywhere library. Used to be there.

I've been going back and forth between Vudu support and MA support for the past week or two since this issue started. When I initially connected everything, my UV movies ported to Vudu, and many of those UV movies (approx. 70-80) also ported to MA.

A couple of weeks ago, I had issue syncing my UV movies with Vudu, so I figured I'd disconnect UV from Vudu. Around that time I was also having sync issues between Vudu and MA, so I figured I'd disconnect MA from Vudu as well.

After doing all of that, I waited a bit. I noticed a decrease in movies for all three services (UV, MA, Vudu), which I was expecting.

When I reconnected everything, Vudu's library count was restored to what it was before, and same with UV. Unfortunately, MA was still short by about 70-80 titles, and they were all UV movies. I also noticed, that newer movies I added to MA weren't porting to Vudu.

I contacted MA support, and they were able to fix the sync between MA and Vudu, so my newer MA movies would port to Vudu, but they couldn't figure out how to re-add the UV movies, so they suggested I contact Vudu support.

Vudu support refreshed my UV and MA connections, but that didn't work. Vudu spent a few days troubleshooting the issue, but couldn't fix it. I just received an email from their support, indicating that they've tried everything on their end, and the issue is with MA, so I should contact MA support again.

I went from MA support, to Vudu support, and now back to MA support. Has anyone run into this issue before?

    TL;DR

I disconnected UV and MA from Vudu to try and fix sync issues, and the sync broke. MA and Vudu are syncing properly now, and UV and Vudu are syncing properly now. The UV movies in my Vudu library are NOT syncing with MA, and they were previously. I'm missing about 70-80 UV titles that ported over to MA before. My Vudu incident number is [Incident: 190429-000550].

At current, I've disconnect MA and UV from Vudu. I'm going to to wait for a few hours, and then try to reconnect them again.

They instructed us to not disconnect any UV provider from UV.

That's great for people that check the forum regularly. The majority of users don't.

I hope so too. It seems that new movies I add to UV will port, and only the ones I added prior to disconnecting won't.

I never disconnected and still had 66 removal requests from VUDU to MA which resulted in losing 33 movies from MA and associated providers. 10 were duplicate requests and 23 came to MA from other sources in addition to VUDU leaving 33 VUDU-MA exclusive.

I've had multiple help desk tickets into MA, VUDU, UV, WB, Sony, Universal for about a month. Hoping it gets resolved soon.

encountered the same thing. issue is when UV gets disconnected to Vudu, the movies will be removed in MA as Vudu is sending sort of "movie refunded" in MA. But even reconnecting UV in Vudu, it doesn't sync back to MA even it is already in Vudu. I contacted also both MA and Vudu and still hopeless case to date. I noticed in VUDU transaction history, it never add the transaction again after reconnecting your UV like before. So i guess thats why it never ports the movie again back in MA because there is no new transaction in VUDU.

Yet I didn't disconnect and had this happen. So unsure what triggered the issue.

I'm still waiting... sent some emails back and forth with Vudu support, and they've said they escalated the issue now. I haven't heard from them in a couple of days now.

I wonder if it's because MA already marked it as a completed transaction, and won't do it again? Like dyeysee was saying. I had the same theory, but MA support keeps directing me to Vudu support. I might have to call MA support again and escalate.

MA support has told me that VUDU and UV have told them they are working on the issue. UV told me it was not their issue and to go to VUDU and MA. VUDU has escalated it to highest level of support. I get a few updates when I inquire that the issue is being worked. Still an issue.

I swear Vudu support is a joke. Almost every day or two, someone new emails me and tell me my missing movies are not compatible with MA, when they all are. It's frustrating replying with the same response almost every day.
