VUDU To Go broken after Win10 upgrade?

So, I wanted to check up on VuduToGo and see if some of my titles work now. But VUDUToGo fails to launch claiming that it required Adobe AIR but can't find it. But Air is installed. So, I don't know what the problem is. This wasn't a problem prior to upgrading to Win10. Did the Win10 upgrade somehow screw something up? I tried reinstalling Air. No success. I tried reinstalling VUDUToGo, but it errored out.

Not sure what to try next? Don't want to lose the titles I've already recognized and then have to re-recognize them...

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Well, being an industrious sot, I deleted all the AIR folders, uninstalled VUDUToGo, and went through the registry with a fine-toothed comb exporting and deleting all Registry Entries relating to Adobe AIR, AdobeAIR & VUDUToGo. Then I restarted. Restarted again, just to be safe. Nothing explicitly broke or blewup. Deleted the old installer downloads. Downloaded fresh copies of Adobe AIR & VUDUToGo. Reinstalled AIR, which actually had a progress bar this time, rather than just going directly from clicking "start installation" to "finished" with no install progress bar. Reinstalled VUDUToGo. And now it opens without complaining that AIR isn't installed when it actually is.

Pain in the @r$e... But I got 'er done...

Were I not technologically inclined, this would have been a serious irritant. Granted, the registry edits were a serious irritant, in and of themselves.

But, I think I managed to solve it myself. Will let you know if anythingelse goes sideways. But, just so you know, I think the Win7 --> Win10 upgrade breaks VUDUToGo, or AIR or something... And the fix seems to be non-trivial to any but the extremely technologically savvy... :\ Annoying.

Funny, I just gave this very same advice to someone here having the same issue after upgrading OSX. Adobe's licensing sucks, I've had application upgrades break things and had to go through the same rigamarole.

I think what happens is things get set to read only during the upgrade and because of that, items can not be written to during installs. Most notably are things in any of your normal libraries...my documents, my pictures, my videos and my music. If there is anything in those directories that needs to be overwritten during installs, they can't. Also, some other shared folders get blocked and you can't unblock them without a suffering a big pain in the arse. Something to do with the Microsoft OneDrive.
