I'm on my LG OLED C8 connected to gigabit ethernet with 800mbps. Same movie, Infinity War works fine on Amazon UHD and delivers about 44mpbs as monitored by my Google WiFi. On Vudu, same everything, I get about 2-8mpbs.

I called support and they blamed my connection speed. I explained that wasn't the case. Then they said I should run in HDX for 5 minutes everytime before switching to UHD to get the TV familiar with the pixels. WTH? Finally they sent me an email asking a bunch of questions which I answered.

If there was just performance problems yesterday then just tell me that. Or could it be the app? Anyone else having this problem?

I couldn't get Vudu to work at all last night when I tried it on my LG C9. I got a weird message that I had never seen before. I just switched to my ATV4K and played it on Vudu there.

    277 UHD
    808 HDX
    3 SD

I'm having issues with VUDU's service and only VUDU'S service. Amazon works flawlessly, Fandango Now works flawlessly, Netflix, Hulu. All those service providers are streaming the same programs flawlessly that will not stream without errors on every device I have connected to VUDU. 2 ROKU ULTRA'S and 2 SAMSUNG TVS. Same problem "UNABLE TO STREAM DUE TO NETWORK ERROR along with FAILED TO GET PLAYBACK INFORMATION ERRORS". And I wasn't trying to stream UHD. I was trying to stream a program in HDX.

It is not a speed issue on my end. I work for my internet provider (I'm a troubleshooter) and I have lightning speed and a very expensive Triband Router I paid hundreds for. Their first level of troubleshooters always blame the customer's internet speed. I'm sorry but I have been through this too many times before with this service in the last year and half to two years.

And to tell a customer who purchased a UHD movie to watch it in HDX for five minutes is absolutely ridiculous. My issue started on the same day lujan's started. Since around 6-20-19. And I am still having the problems today. 6- 24-19

Get your act together and listen to your customers and fix the problem.

EDIT: Add error message "SORRY, VUDU IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE, PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER".

2ND EDIT: JUNE 25. All those errors posted above are still happening today. It's been 5 days now. I didn't come to the forums right away because I figured those that fix these issues would get them fixed. But after 4 or 5 days it's time to say something.

I too am encountering this exact issue on my 60? Samsung TV?s VUDU app, all other apps are fine. It just started doing this last week. Does it with both UHD and HDX.

I've reached out to some engineers to see what might be going on. I'll report back when I have more information.

I?m encountering the same issues as others within. This thread. I have over 100mbs download speeds and have one box that I use with direct wired and others wireless different devices. All of which pose the same issues with buffering and continually reloading the movie. Doesn?t matter whether or not it?s hdx or sd.
I don?t experience these problems with any of these devices with YouTube streaming, Netflix, amazon prime, etc...
            any updates on this issue?

              Hi Felipe,

I cannot access Vudu's service at all on any of my devices. Off and on. I keep getting this error message "SORRY, VUDU IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER". Screen shot of error message posted below.

Also when trying to access VUDU's website from two different computers, the website will not come up. This has also been happening off and on.

That would be appreciated. Support keeps giving me the run-around. They ignored my email response and closed my ticket. They keep putting it on me. How many times do I need to unplug the TV and reinstall the app. If I asked them what's going on they ignore it as if I didn't respond and mark the issue "Solved".

I've invest a lot in Vudu for the UHD and I appreciate the user interface. But everytime we go to watch a movie it's no-deal.

P.S. This was working fine on my Roku Premiere+. The LG C8 has never worked reliably.
