Vudu credits expiring before expiration date on credit?

I have purchased 2 movies on an endcap at my local Walmart. The movies are Robin Hood and Forever My Girl. Both have a $5 Vudu movie credit as an incentive to purchase the item. Neither credit works. They both give me a "something's not right error." The credit very clearly states that it expires on November 17. That's over two months away. Could someone look into these credits. Prefix is VLWP.

There are many cases of credits expiring well before their printed date, but this one is extra crazy. The movies sold in-store with these credits are still in-stock at Walmarts everywhere, they're prominently featured and have clearly printed expiration dates of 11/17/2019. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Please help get these fixed FelipeF Jake Thank you.

I am in the same situation. I bought 2 of Forever my Girl as Xmas presents and have yet to be able to get the codes from the stickers to work.

This display just went up last week at my local Walmart. And they are displayed right in the front of the electronics on the main endcap. The lack of any response from both vudu and walmart is frustrating. This feels like bait and switch to me. You advertise movies as having a credit as an incentive to buy them, and the credit doesn't work.... I can't return the movies to Walmart because they are now opened... If I exchange them I'll have the same problem of the credits not working. Can someone from VUDU please comment on this.

Why don't you call in and get the help you need instead of waiting for someone to answer a forum post. While the mods do help out most of the time it's not their main support channel.

If they handle this on a case-by-case basis, that's a band-aid fix on a gaping wound. And it doesn't really fix the bigger picture that these just need to work as advertised. How many people don't even bother contacting customer support because of the headache? That's why false advertising laws exist. So that consumers don't need to jump over hurdles to get what they were promised.

You would be amazed of the amount of cases of people who claimed that their code was invalid only to find out that it was redeemed on their other account. This is why each case gets handled independently. So if you have any issues with Vudu codes then please either call us or file a ticket with us.

That doesn't surprise me one bit sadly. But in this case, these codes are definitely not working off the shelf.

The sooner I get cases for these codes I can investigate and see what's going on. If there's a programming error for these codes, that should be an easy fix. I just need some examples.

                      Thank you Felipe.

Once I am home later I will get pictures of the codes, discs, receipt, etc and start a support ticket. Then I will PM my case #.

And a support agent manually added the credits to my account minutes after starting the ticket.
