    Not getting VUDU emails (except receipts)

    When I initially signed up for my VUDU account, I entered my email address incorrectly. It took me forever to figure out why I couldn't login. I have now changed my email address so it is correct, but the only emails I get from VUDU is when I make a purchase. I opened a support ticket and they told me to check the box under communication settings. My box was already checked. I have also checked my Spam folder and I don't have any there either. I have been missing out on offers like "last chance" watching, and other deals. Any ideas?

      Yes Felipe, please look into this. For some unknown reason the box under communications settings was unchecked and not by my doings. I've checked the box and still have yet to receive a single email to my inbox or junk mail for that matter. Your help on this issue would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

        I use to get emails all the time, but now it's just receipts, and most of the time they are a few days late. Nothing in my spam either.

          Seems to me it should be a simple thing to address if they would put a little effort towards a resolution in the matter. I do remember a forum member a while back having the same issue receiving emails and some of her post with a staff member got pretty heated. She must have threw her hands up and said to he!l with it...haven't seen a post from her since. Purchased an upgrade yesterday, fingers crossed the receipt comes through!

            Man, I sure was hoping to get some resolution on this. My brother texted me today and said today is another "last chance" watch day for a $2 credit. Should I try openeing another support ticket? Others have suggested just opening a second account just so I can get the emails - I really don't want to do that - it sounds like more trouble for me and for VUDU.

              Yeah I wish I'd get the marketing emails also. My "Communication Preferences" has the box checked next to "Updates on new releases, new features, and more." They all stopped after last June. I'm a big Vudu user, but this is frustrating that I'm missing out on these deals. FelipeF Can you help me? Thanks.

                  Well, it's been a month with lots of interest, but no response. After receiving a disappointing response from regular support, I was really optimistic that FelipeF might be able to help. I suippose it helps a bit knowing I'm not in this boat alone. Luckily, right now I have an abundance of slow-ship credits so I can keep movies rolling in as they go on sale.

                      You guys had your email addresses disabled since we are receiving lots of bounce backs from your email inbox. You have all been enabled for Vudu promo emails once again.

                          Thank you SO much! Is there anything we can be doing to prevent these bounce backs? Do the promo emails come from a different email than the receipts?
