    Weird Roku Issue

I use my Vudu account across a variety of devices and platforms, but the primary one is on a Roku box.

The last few days, the Roku app hasn't been working properly for video playback. You try to play a movie and it loads, and then looks like it's going to start but the INSTANT the video file starts to play, it kicks out to the menu.

It happens ONLY on the Roku app, not on any of the other platforms I watch Vudu on, and it has happened EVERY TIME for the last three days.

I tried to reboot, uninstall and reinstall the app, all the obvious stuff. Anybody have any ideas? My wife wants to watch a recently-purchased movie tomorrow as part of a big family thing, but as of right now it doesn't look like she'll be able to use the account on the TV.

Has there been any progress on this? I go to start a movie and it basically skips as though I just finished it and asks me to rate it.

Which movie and quality are you seeing this on?

I too have had this issue. Movie starts for a split second and asks to rate. Happened both on resume and play from beginning. Rebooting the Roku seems to resolve the issue for a time.

          Roku 3
Movies: Big Hero 6 HDX and Kung Foo Panda 3 HDX.

This happens on every movie. I cannot watch any Vudu content on my Rouku 4. I have tried a reboot as well.

Add another Roku 4 to mix. Skips thru the entire movie as if it played then asks for rating on all movies.

                Re: Weird Roku Issue

I have Roku 2 and it happens to me. A reboot always fixes it, but it's kind of annoying to have to reboot before playing a video. It's even more annoying when I'm binge-watching a TV show and this issue pops up after only one or two episodes and I have to reboot.

If you guys are still having issues with the Vudu app crashing/rate screen bug on Roku products, please provide the following information so we can investigate this issue further, thanks.

                  - Make and model of the Roku device (Settings > System > About)
                  - Content that's exhibiting this behavior and the quality (SD, HD, HDX, UHD)
                  - Roku Software/Firmware version (Settings > System > About)
                  - Vudu app version (Settings (gear icon) > System Info > Vudu Client Version)
                  - Audio/Video Settings (Settings > Audio), (Settings > HDMI), (Settings > Display Type)
                  - Audio/Video Setup (Audio receiver, HDMI, Composite, etc.)
                  - Do you use other streaming services on the same device? (Netflix, Amazon, etc.)

PLEASE ALSO PERFORM A POWERCYCLE ON THE DEVICE. UNPLUG FROM THE POWER SOURCE, WAIT A MINUTE AND PLUG BACK IN. LET ME KNOW IF THIS HELPS OR NOT.
