    Another Roku Issue

I can't stream movies with VUDU on my 55" Roku-enabled t.v. for the past week without it constantly buffering every 10 seconds or so, causing about a 15-second delay each time. Obviously that is intolerable. I can use the same t.v. to stream Netflix, DMA, and Amazon without problems. Also, I can stream the same movies on VUDU HDX on my 19" laptop, this time without buffering. Is this related to the problems others have been experiencing recently with VUDU and Roku?

This sounds weird for a TV, but can you try "power cycling" it? (that may involve pulling the power cord and plugging back in, "off" may just be a standby mode?) There is a longstanding Roku firmware bug that we are still trying to get them to fix that may cause VUDU streaming to become unresponsive if the device has been running for several weeks+.

After five days of annoying my kids and sending them to Netflix/Amazon/Disney, this issue appears to have resolved itself. No more constant buffering for the last two days so far.

Thanks for the "power cycling" for Roku. I have been blaming VUDU for the constant buffering.
When I read this post I immediately went to my Roku and unplugged the power. Its working as it should. Anyone know why Roku works with Amazon and Netflix and glitches out on VUDU. Before unplugging I tried HDX HD and SD and all went to Buffering.

Makes me loose faith in Roku, I have 3 of these and would like to see Roku fix the proble.
        Thanks again for the Fix.
