    Vudu on Windows Mixed Reality

    I understand there is not and won't be an actual VR app for Vudu (hoping that might change now that bought by FN who does have a VR app and streams in all VR browsers fine), but out of all the streaming services I have Vudu is the only one that blocks all methods to stream in WMR. Why? Has someone found a way around this? I say blocks because the Win 10 app used to work in WMR until right after I made mention in a Vudu forum that it works, next day an update to the app and it stopped working.

    So in Edge in WMR I can stream all except Vudu, I get "has encountered a media error" message, same with the Win 10 app. Using a virtual desktop in WMR I can get to it, but it will only let me stream SD saying there is an HDCP issue, even though all the other services will stream and stream in HD requiring HDCP. Firefox doesn't even work, though Firefox will work on the Quest in a virtual desktop for Vudu HD. Vudu works fine on the desktop of the PC that WMR is running on. To help minimize the usual answers, I have tried Virtual Desktop from Steam and Oculus, Bigscreen Beta and the built in Desktop for WMR. Same issue on all. Bigscreen and Virtual Desktop both stream fine using Firefox from my Quest. This is only a problem in WMR.

    I have a Nvidia 2070 RTX, Odyssey+ connected to a compliant HDMI port on the card. Win 10 2004 (problem pre-dates this version though).

    So has anyone found a way to stream Vudu in WMR? I want this because I have a rather large TV series library in Vudu and a few movies only available in Vudu. Don't want to wait however long to see if FN and Vudu merge their libraries so I can watch them through FN.

    Just saw this. You are not alone. I have watched several things using the Mixer Reality Portal home to show the apps. Also the Bigscreen app showing my desktop. As soon as WMR portal is open the Vudu app acts up. It gives an error about the video and audio format, though the movie itself is visible on the desktop screen with the annoying warning over it. The same is visible in the Bigscreen app when viewing the desktop, but the non-moveable error makes it unwatchable.

    Playing in Chrome or Edge, it looks fine on the desktop but in Bigscreen it shows just black window with the controls for the movie working. I did have someone suggest using Firefox as you can disable the browser from flagging the GPU memory.

    Netflix, Microsoft, Amazon, etc all work fine. Thankfully due to Movies Anywhere I can still watch some of my content, but nothing in 3d, or any of my TV shows.

    I personally would love Vudu to embrace VR with their own app (would love to be able to watch my 3d movies again in VR as no one really makes 3d tvs anymore), but also perfectly fine with them just not blocking others.
