Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     Samsung KS8500 Can't Connect

    My Samsung KS8500 Smart TV can no longer connect to Vudu.

    Worked fine the last several days, but now says "Error Please try again later" whenever I start the Vudu app. My other devices connect fine.

    I went into "My Apps" and told my TV to reinstall Vudu, it downloaded to 100% then said "Unable to install. Please try again later (118)."

    I went into my TV settings and reset the entire smart hub, then reinstalled all my non-"basic" apps from scratch. They all worked fine (other than having to re-sign in to all of them) except Vudu, which still won't even start, and still won't reinstall.

    I tried deleting the Vudu app, thinking maybe the app has to be deleted before it can be reinstalled. But I was told "Basic apps can not be deleted."

    This has been going on for 4 hours now, not the way I wanted to spend my 4th of July.

    How can I get Vudu working again on my TV?

    Update: Other folks in the avsforum KS8500 topic area reporting same issue.

        I also have a newer version Samsung TV like his model, just not the curved. KS8000, The Vudu app doesn't not connect or install. It was working before the June 30th update.

            We are working with Samsung so they can come up with a fix for this, no ETA.

              Same problem. I have a 2016 Samsung UN55KU6300. Vudu app not responding. Was watching vudu until about the 4th of July. Error. Unable to install. Please try again later. (118).

                It was working fine on Saturday July 9 2016. Now it won't do anything. Tried to reinstall and it fails. Was there a recent update? I need my VUDU.

                  Samsung has published a new VUDU version. Version 4.1.23 is now available in the Samsung App store.

                  Please update to version 4.1.23 and see if the error 118 is resolved and VUDU launches.

                    I am having the same issue with my Samsung. It was working fine and it stopped. I assumed it was the TV so I returned it and exchanged for the same TV last week. Again it was working fine until today, July 11, 2016, when I tried to log in to Vudu before the TV connected to the internet. I tried self-diagnostics, reset smart hub and reset TV. Now Vudu installs to 100% but TV says Unable to install error 118. Tried updating with no luck.

                      I just updated. It still isn't working.

                      I also hard rebooted the TV just to be sure.

                          Same issue here. 55" KS8500 and since June 30th update the app has been broken. July 4th I attempted a full reset of smart hub and later the tv itself and the app seemed to be completely missing as opposed to just not starting. Can confirm that after today's update it still does not work. Again attempted smart hub reset and full tv reset to no avail.

                            I've also been having the same problem with my Samsung UN55KU6300. VUDU app was working fine until about July 4 or 5 and as of today still will not re-download. Gives me the same error message every time.

                              Samsung is able to reproduce the 118 error and is working on a solution. When I hear back from them on a solution I will update everyone.
