The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     Login failed - help!

    Help! My Vudu password isn't being accepted anymore. I didn't change it. I tried a "forgot password" but no email comes. I sent in a service request thru the contact us, but only got an acknowledgment email. If I want to add more to the ticket, I have to sign in. Which is the maddening part, The vudu server isn't accepting my password, and therefore can't proceed. I don't know if I've been hacked and my emails are sent elsewhere. I've only had this one password since I've joined. Did I lose all my movies? i'm a bit panicked and want to watch my shows. Is there anyone that can help me? Thank you in advance!

      I've also just started getting a login failed message when I tried to login into vudu using the mobile app. I usually login in through my walmart.com account. And suddenly it is not working. But it is letting me access my account via pc. Anyone had this happen? What's going on?

          OK after digging around a bit further it seems that VUDU has made some modifications to their login servers. You can't login anymore, if you don't have an US IP address.

          If you use a non-US proxy or VPN this may be your problem...

            I suggest that you do not use a proxy at all. VPN's and proxies are not allowed to be used with Vudu. This is due to contractual obligations with the movie studios since Vudu is for US only.

              What about US forces living in other countries? I'm on a military base and still get US programs that are disabled in other countries and I was able to use VUDU but now it won't let me log in.

                I'm afraid this also applies to military bases as well. This is not a Vudu decision to clarify.

                  Don't blame the movie studios. This is Walmart's service- Vudu is a content viewing site. I did not agree to any EULA stating that I would view only in the USA. I paid for access to view content. When I agreed to the EULA years ago when I first subscribed to this service, there was no such language. If I want to download and view content I should be able do that where ever I please.

                    I'm sure you're upset because you can't access your Vudu account, but Vudu has ALWAYS been a US only video streaming service. I was one of those folks who purchased a Vudu box at BestBuy back in the day as they say. I have vacation homes in Mexico and Canada and I was never able to access Vudu from these countries. It seems that some users were using VPNs and proxies and were getting away with using them, but now the net has grown bigger and is catching more of these users. Bottom line, the studio has the majority of the say when it comes to the content you "own" on any video streaming service. In fact, they are just selling us a license to the content and the terms of use that comes with it.
