Can't stream UHD or HDX on my XBOX One

    Can't stream UHD or HDX on my XBOX One

    For the last month I have been unable to stream any title for more than 10-25 minutes in UHD or HDX on my XBOX One. I have 80+ mbps internet and have zero issues with any other streaming apps. I have logged in/out of my account and have deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times.

    I've tried contacting customer service and received a reference number but each time I call to get help the call gets dropped. If someone could help me with this issue I would appreciate the help.

    I'm having the same issue and have tried everything. Nothing I've done has been able to resolve it.

      Yeah, I now see all the horrible reviews for the XBOX One app on the Microsoft Store. The consensus seems to be that this all started happening around the time VUDU and Fandango merged. Pretty infuriating after the thousands of dollars I've spent over the years.

      I now buy MA only titles and never on VUDU if it can be purchased for the same price elsewhere.

        Yes. This is the same problem I am having. I will no longer purchase through Vudu. This problem has only begun since the merger and it has gotten worse. Customer support has disappeared and doesn't seem to care.

          And I’m having the same issue. It doesn’t happen on my PS5, Roku device or if I stream directly through my smart TV app. I emailed Vudu help and received… zilch. Even a “we’re aware of the issue and we’re looking into it” would go a long way.

          I completely understand if a service isn’t perfect and needs to be refined. My phone gets regular updates. As does my PC. As does my console. Nothing is ever in a perfect state.

          But where the new Vudu is falling short is in the customer service department. The lack of a response — seemingly to anyone affected by this issue — makes me think as others do above: what’s my exit strategy from this platform?

          I’ve genuinely enjoyed Vudu. It remains my go to platform for digital movies and TV. But if this isn’t addressed soon — or even acknowledged — I’m switching to another platform.

            I'm in the same boat. I've had a vudu account since the beginning. I have a large library of movies on it but as of the Vudu Fandango buyout and later merger my experience with the service has been utter garbage. It started out relatively random and from time to time. Now I can not watch movies in UHD or HDX and can barely watch them in SD. This is infuriating me to no end. If they do not fix this ASAP I'm going to look into other options and I want reimbursement for every digital movie in my library to get them on anothrr service.

            I switched to a 1gig fiber service and still having the issue and my Xbox Ones I use for streaming are all hardwired and my speed tests are all crazy good. And my network is also just fine. I know this issue is 100% Vudu/Fandango issue not on my side.

            if anyone finds a fix or something please post it.

              Are you guys in the Xbox Insider program? I was until the frequent updates kept breaking the Vudu app and others. Just stick with the public release updates. Haven't had any issues since unenrolled for the Insider updates.

                Nope, I avoid that just for those types of issues. We have 2 Xbox One X's and does it on both since the fandango merger. I've checked everything on my end and both are hardwired not wireless. I've also tested on 2 roku devices and does same thing. All other streaming services, online games, downloads, speed tests etc on PCs, laptops, mobile devices etc etc all work flawlessly. The only issue we have is with Vudu.
