Windows App and Edge will not play Smallville in HDX

I have put in 2 tickets so far with no response in the last 2 weeks. I purchased the series in HDX it at the end of 2021 and was able to watch the episodes in HDX using the App or Edge. Now I just get this error. "Streaming in this browser is not available at this time. Please choose an alternate browser, such as Chrome or Firefox to continue viewing." I would like some response and resolution asap. Thank you

I am having the same issue. No HDX in Edge. I am able to view in HDX (1080) with other vendors in Edge, such as Amazon and Netflix. Vudu will play SD in Edge, but only if I choose to lower the starting level of playback. If I attempt to move it to HDX during playback or start in HDX i get the same error, "Steaming in this browser is not available at this time. Please, choose an alternate browser.... That would be fine with me except that VUDU has locked other browsers to SD only. What a crock. FelipeF, let me know what you plan to do here. I have Win 10 21H2. I have seen the same issue on other comptuers with 21H2 and 21H1 Win 10. I have noticed that an it worked fine on a spare computer (that is no longer used now) that had Win 10, ver 1909, on it and it worked fine. This suggests one simple thing. VUDU is the issue and your programers have not updated VUDU to work properly with Edge and the newer Windows. Get back to me. Thanks.

I am experiencing this as well. Windows 8 on one machine, and 10 on another.
          Both fresh Edge installs.
SD will play only if I set default playback to SD.
If I try to switch to HDX during playback, I get the "Unable to stream at this time. Please try a different browser."
I know I'm not the only one with this issue.

I know I'm late to this but you have to have Use HW Acceleration enabled in the Edge system settings to watch HDX now. Same with the WIn 10 app, which is just an Edge PWA app, no longer its own app. I assume this was done to reduce dev time and costs. I think it is a mistake and has reduced the value of PC viewing for me. Mainly because I used to watch Vudu in Windows Mixed Reality on a large screen, now I can't because using Edge with HW acceleration on makes DRM incompatible with it.
