Season Complete discount not working on new shows

    Season Complete discount not working on new shows

    A couple days ago I bought some episodes from new TV Shows, and the Season Complete feature doesn't seem to be working.

    I bought the first episode from these three shows:

    Scream Queens: Season 2
    Gotham: Season 3
    American Horror Story: Season 6

    The "Own Season" prices should drop $2.99. But they are still full price with no discount.

    Anyone else having the same problem? Hopefully they get it working soon. I don't want to buy any more episodes until it's fixed.

    The Season Complete discount still hasn't appeared on these shows. I was hoping it would be fixed on Monday morning.

    Are all the Fall 2016 shows having this problem? Is it just a temporary glitch? Or has Vudu stopped doing the Season Complete discounts?

    There's other episodes I want to buy. But I'm waiting until this gets fixed.

      Well, I just called Vudu Customer Service. They didn't know why discount wasn't appearing. After speaking with the supervisor, they told me to continue buying the individual episodes. And when I was ready to buy the Season Pass, if the discount wasn't working by then, I should call customer service again. They would then prorate the season price or credit me for the episodes I'd purchased.

      I hope it works out in the end. I wish the discount was working like it should.

        This is the first time I've purchased a Season Pass on a TV show prior to airing. Can anyone tell me when the episode becomes available to watch? Is it the day after it airs on the network station?

          It's NORMALLY the next day, in the late afternoon. Vudu took 3 or 4 days without posting a new episode for a currently running show just last week. However, other streaming services didn't have the episode for that length of time either (except iTunes). I do know some season passes I bought, I had to post on the forum 2 days later before they were added.

              I ended up getting a refund for the season pass I got on Google Play because it was taking forever for them to add the first episode of "The Flash". I'll just watch on regular station and get it when the whole season is available next summer or fall.

                Has anyone bought an individual episode for one of the currently airing seasons? Is anyone seeing the Season Complete discount on any new shows?

                It's still not working for me on any of the current shows I've bought. I wonder if this is a problem with all Fall 2016 shows?

                I hope they fix this soon. I'm reluctant to buy any more episodes at Vudu until it's working again.

                  it works on the new show Timeless it's the only show I have bought episodes for
