    Vudo is Broken... Across every single device including the website!

    I have been trying to connect to Vudo for 2 weeks now and my partially free movie rental is now about to expire! I have tryed playing my movies at Vudu.com as well and NOTHING WORKS! In fact, the only thing that does work are the trailers of movies I don't own! It won't even play the trailers of the movies I do own!

    I have tried connecting on my Roku 3, Roku 4, and PS4 and the app just doesn't connect at all! It keeps spinning and spinning trying to connect and then throws out an error message of "connection timed out."

    I already have a ticket open on this issue with customer support but was seriously wondering if anyone here who also has the same issue.

    The last time I connected was a few months ago but since getting a free 3 dollar credit I decided to rent a movie on demand which I now can't watch!

    If there is any word on a possible fix please let me know because I'm getting to the point of beyond fed up now.

    Resetting my equipment doesn't help, resetting my Roku 4 to default factory setting doesn't help either. This problem is on Vudu's end.. and I'd like to see this addressed immediated as I have a dozen films I paid for that I now can't access.

    If anyone can chime in on this it would be greatly appreciated.

    Honestly, this looks like a local network issue since all devices are not able to connect. Continue to work with customer care so they can have you run some diagnostic tests on your network.

      No this is not a local network issue and your customer support representatives haven't got back to me for 4 days since their last reply.

      Let me be clear... There is nothing wrong with my connection.. My roku and all it's apps work fine EXCEPT FOR VUDU. Vudu will not work on my phone, my chromebook, my ps4, my roku3 or my roku 4.

      The problem is on Vudu's end.. Not mine.

      It has now been 2 weeks without access to my movies and my rental has 16 more days left. This is not acceptable at all.

      I've already opened up a ticket and yet I haven't got a reply since thursday.. Meanwhile My movie rental continues to be unwatchable and will soon expire.

      Please escallate this immediately.

        If you can't access Vudu at all from your network, then that's DEFINITELY a network issue. I use Vudu almost daily and there hasn't been any outages recently that I can think of. Vudu is pretty consistent when it comes to uptime. Have you tried looking into your router configuration to see if your rule set is too strict? You said you tried using Vudu on a phone, does it work on the cell data connection? Why don't you call in and ask for a refund on your rental at least until things get sorted out?

          I've been using Vudu in the last few days, including today 10/19/16, on my Win10 laptop, Android tablet, and Android phone. All platforms and devices were able to connect to Vudu, download, play movies that I own. Sounds like the problem is in your own connection.

            Or account. Those are the only two things common to your problems, OP. It might be worth creating a second account. I assume you're tried on a browser in a different location by now.

              Good idea. It might even be quicker to play a trailer from a Private Browsing or Incognito window (or otherwise not logged in). That is, if trailers also won't play for you.
