Title Search Does Not Search Library Titles!

    Hello fellow Vudu-ers,

I was surprised to learn that when you search Vudu for a title, the search is not comprehensive.
The search only looks at titles that are currently available for sale on Vudu.
So if you own a title in your library but Vudu is not currently selling that title, it will NOT show up when you search the title.

This became crystal clear for me when I wanted to watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail with a friend.
I tried searching for it and could not find it. When I searched for Monty Python, only 1 title came up!
I knew that I owned at least 3 MP movies - Meaning of Life, Life of Brian, and of course Holy Grail.
So when only Meaning of Life came up I knew something was wrong. And after the recent problem with UV updating their data base in which I temporarily lost over 800 titles from my library, I became quite nervous about being unable to find several titles that I know that I own.

So now I know. I can watch Holy Grail and it is in my collection, but I can not bring up the title with a search.
What this means is I must scroll through library titles until I find Holy Grail if I want to watch it (or even just confirm that I own it). I watch on my TV using a Roku 4, and Holy Grail is title number 3808. So I have to page down through almost 4000 titles to get to the movie I want to watch! I can try to narrow the list by filtering, but even so, this is ridiculous.

VUDU SUPPORT!!! - Please please please put in a search field that searches through our library!

Have any of you Vudu-ers come across this problem and found a work-around?

This has been this way forever. As you mentioned really annoying for those that have massive collections. Searches are geared towards buying, not watching. I think the problem is that non-purchasable titles still have a page. So people that don't own those titles would gets loads of listing for titles they see but can't buy which creates a diffferent head. So it's not as simple as code that shows all or only those available for purchase. Showing only those that are available for purchase, except ones in your specific collection is more complicated and Vudu has a huge list of other enhancements to do and with a limited budget.

I want this as well and have been pushing forever but it's not likely to happen soon I would expect based on history and lack of comments of Vudu staff on the subject.
