    Need help redeeming The Founder

Redeemed The Founder a few days ago and as I entered the code, Vudu came back with "invalid code". I waited a few days and entered it again and got the same thing. I tried to enter the code at the Lionsgate UV redeem website and got the message that the code was redeemed at Vudu on the day I originally entered it.

I submitted a help ticket with a screenshot of what the Lionsgate website said along with the UV code, but haven't heard from anyone in four days.

Any ideas to get this film to show up in my account?

I'd say call Vudu customer support but be prepared to send multiple screen shots and copies of your store receipt if you still have it. I had an issue redeeming a movie that was a pre-order. Even though Lionsgate redeemed the code, I selected Vudu as the redemption site then received an email saying that once my code was redeemed at Vudu that my credit card on file would be charged. I asked a simple question of why my card on file would be charged when I used a redemption slip that came with my disc. So Vudu in response to my question deleted the pre-order altogether which then made my valid code invalid. I tried to redeem again and it said this code had already been redeemed. Like you I sent screenshots of the redemption slip, sent a screenshot of what Lionsgate web site showing the slip had already been used, sent them copies of emails showing that Vudu cancelled my pre-order without my authorization but because I had tossed out the receipt (like most anyone does). They refused to even acknowledge they did anything wrong or refused to reimburse me as I had to buy a second copy to get another redemption slip. I kept getting told they would look into it but it's been 5 months now and thru multiple emails and phone calls I finally just gave up. You would think sending copies of the disc case, redemption slip with code clearly on the slip, copy of the Lionsgate website stating that Vudu redeemed the code, a copy of Vudu's email saying they cancelled my code which made my code now invalid would be enough. Nope I tossed the receipt as soon as I got home and so Vudu refused to help me.

I hope you have better luck then me with getting your movie issue fixed as I'm still bitter over it.

Contact the studio. I've had similar problems with Universial, WB, Sony etc and they have all resolved in under a day to my satisfaction.

There was a known issue with redeeming this code early on Vudu (before street date of 4/18). Although you did not mention it, my guess is that you got an error the first time entering the code. This burned the code. It's up to you if you want to contact Lionsgate, but with the recent crackdowns on early redemption they are liable to ask where you got the code before the disc was on sale.
