The Vudu Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Vudu experience. Here, Vudu customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Vudu and Vudu -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Vudu customers with questions and/or problems with their Vudu service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Vudu Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Vudu Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Vudu reserves the right to refrain from posting and/or to remove user comments, including comments that contain any of the following:

1. Obscenities, defamatory language, discriminatory language, or other language not suitable for a public forum

Kingdom season 2 VUDU Purchase DISAPPEARED from my account

    Kingdom season 2 VUDU Purchase DISAPPEARED from my account

    On 12/05/2015 I purchased Kingdom season 2 HDX on vudu . It can not be repurchased due to licensing but that is just a guess on my part. On 6/21/2017 I noticed that in my balance and history section it said this:
    "6/21/2017 Own Kingdom: Season 2 [HDX]" So naturally I checked Kingdom season 2 in my vudu TV library (as it is not UV compatible) and I own only 1 episode now - every episode after is no longer available for me to watch.

    Did you remember purchasing it as a season pass or as a completed season? Because the final episode of season 2 wasn't out until August of 2016 so if you didn't purchase it as a season pass you couldn't have bought it in December of 2015.

    Have you gone back through your purchases to see if you actually did buy it? Even if the series vanished from your account the transaction information would still be there.

      I heard of this disappearing from someone's library not long ago but they received a credit for it. I believe it was a $19.99 or $24.99 credit

        Vudu did not market it as a season pass - it was a complete season episodes 1-10 and i purchased it on 12/05/2015... They have done many seasons s1A and s1B so i thought this was no different. My main issue is I was not alerted to the change, I found out myself. Does that seem right or fair in any way? Vudu can take all the Clean versions of films away they want i don't care as i did not purchase them but this is an actual purchase made through vudu using a credit card. So is nothing safe in an account??

          I own season 1 and now i own 1 episode of season 2 - i could care less about the credit. I just want to be informed and given a choice. If vudu said "refund or would you like to keep it?" i would of kept it...

            The same thing happened to me. On 6/21/17 I had a charge for Kingdom season 2, and now a credit of $27.05 is on my account. I purchased the complete second season 12/28/2015 - I found the charge in my transaction history. Even if there's a licensing issue that prevents Vudu from selling the season now (as was speculated), that shouldn't affect anyone who already purchased the season! That's not right. If you've purchased it, you own it and it should not be removed from your library. I've emailed Vudu support for an explanation. Why should we purchase anything if that purchase is subject to reversal? Netflix can remove whatever they want- I'm paying for a subscription, not exact content. With Vudu, I've paid for what's in my library.

              if you bought it on vudu or redeemed a code look under balance and history find the date it was added then vudu can tell how it was added and they usually fix it if it was purchased or redeemed on vudu and not somewhere else
