Buffering non stop on roku devices hard wired to router, solid and consistent 35mb/s down on speedtests, only vudu is issue....netflix and hulu fine. Cmon guys... It buffers even at SD for me these last 4 days, but it doesnt do it on pc....Combo Roku and vudu = buffering.

Re: Streaming Problems - Just Started

I have several devices that I use to watch Vudu on. The best performance is on my Playstation 3. The worst performance is on the Roku 2XS. Many times, the Roku would have network errors, but then I would try Vudu on another device and it would run just fine. The Roku 2XS wouldn't handle even the Vudu speed test. So I deleted the Vudu Channel from the Roku, then added it back. After that it worked fine again. I had to go to the Vudu website to manage my devices (delete one of the Roku entries since it was basically a duplicate of the same device).

I am suspicious that the problem is with the Roku itself. It's processor may be too limited to handle Vudu's 1080p HDX stream. It does great with Netflix and other streaming services, but it chokes with Vudu.

Meanwhile, the Playstation 3's processor power makes Vudu run at light speed.

        That's just my experience.

I am using Cablevision's Optimum Boost for my ISP (it's very fast). All of my devices work well with Vudu except for Roku 2 XS. As I said, the Roku hockey puck frequently seems to choke on Vudu's 1080p streams. Not only that, on the Roku the movie and TV thumbnails load extremely slowly or not at all (meanwhile, all of the other Roku Channels function just fine). Perhaps the Roku 2 XS needs a firmware update??? Maybe my Roku is Broku when running Vudu.

Re: Streaming Problems - Just Started

I'm having similar issues. They started abut a week or so. None of my vudu apps work like they used to. My roku tvs and my roku 4 all have issues with Vudu. I can watch netflix, hulu, youtube, ect in HD and Ultra HD with no issues. But when I put on vudu the app takes forever to load. It takes forever to show my movies. Then trying to play one it will take a long time to load, won't load, will stop and buffer, or will stop and say can't play movie at current quality. But again I have had no problems in the past, have had vudu for a few years now. And I can play other videos and movies with no issues what so ever. I also noticed a change to the app. Is this the problem. A change that has some major bugs that haven't been worked out?

Hi, I?m receiving a network error when trying to access Vudu on my Westinghouse TV. Netflix and YouTube are both functional but Vudu is showing a ?failed to fetch? error and is unable to load VUDU Movies.

Detail: Network Error. Error code 28: Operation timeout.

                More info: Hardware ID: SEITGP2 DF845AD 1A7EF93 F70A06A
                Device ID: Ox58330d8
                Software Version: 3.1.0 - 136992 - SystemDriverMstar 3.1.0.0804

Not sure how to resolve the issue. I?ve used VUDU on this TV in the past but now it?s no longer functional. Some support would be appreciated, thanks.

?Unable to stream this movie at the moment due to a network error. Please try again a little
                    later?

Out of the blue for the past week I?ve been unable to watch any of my movies via Vudu on my smarttv.

I ran a log and noticed that (an IP Address outbound 208.111.158.153:80) is denying me access. I?m assuming this is a Vudu IP.

I?ve reset my Spectrum Router several times in the past week with no success. I?ve also reset my Panasonic Vera TV as well

                        I am also having issues....

I have an LG webos smart tv and I am having a very difficult time streaming my videos off the vudu app. It keeps crashing and saying video playback error. My other streaming apps like amazon, wwe network,Netflix and Hulu stream without any issues. But the vudu keeps having play back errors. I have deleted and reinstalled the app and it is still having issues. Can someone please help me?

I just bought American Gangster in UHD and it will not play. I've cycled the power so on and so forth. I've checked my bandwidth so that isn't the problem. Why can't I watch these movies? I'm using Google on my PC. Clears history, cookes, etc. etc.
