    Buffering While Watching on PC

I should say buffering while trying to watch on pc. I purchased a $2.99 movie "Cash McCall" tried watching it and it buffered so bad I had to quit.

Waste of money, I've called half a dozen times, spoke with umpteen technicians, even Level 3 support. I still can't watch a movie on Vudu without buffering.

I can watch Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Veoh, Youtube, etc fine without issues.

I finally had to give up on the Cash McCall movie I tried to rent from Vudu and purchase the instant one on Amazon, which played great.

From looking at the number of threads on this forum from users' having buffering problems, it looks as if Vudu would fix the problem.

    What's the deal Vudu?

we watched our first movie last night on the RCA DSB772WE device. No problem at all. Tonight I am trying to watch on my PC. Can't watch more than 30 seconds of the movie and it starts buffering. What can I do?

Re: Buffering While Watching on PC

I had the same problem. Last night I "rented" (wasted money on) Horrible Bosses and it was a horrible experience. You just couldn't enjoy the movie at all, with it constantly buffering and I had selected SD so I can't imagine what would have happened if I chose HD. What is the point of trying to watch a movie to relax if you can't even make heads or tails out of what is happening? The movie also didn't even start playing at the beginning, it skipped probably the first 5 minutes or so. I also don't have this problem renting movies from other venues. On top of all of this, I couldn't even apply my so called "credit for a free movie"...So how do you "try VUDU for free"? This was a pretty bad first experience, should I bother even continuing?9 \

i tried renting a movie on my IPAD and all it did was buffer. then i went onto my MacAir and it said i couldn't watch it on there. the tech at vudu was useless and in the end, i asked for my money back. of course that is going to take 2 days. 2 seconds to take my money but 2 days to give it back. piece of junk!

Typically refunds take three to five business days to process. This is not something that is only specific to VUDU. It has to go through the proper channels with your bank.

As far as your buffering; i do apologize, if you would like to take the time to post your basic home network setup, i'd be happy to try and help get it up and working for you.
