    Speed and Loading Problems

    Anytime I use the Samsung and XBox One apps they are EXTREMELY slow. Have to wait several minutes just to browse through my movies and TV shows, and then streaming is constantly stopping to buffer. And when pulling up a TV show the seasons take several minutes to load, and occasionally load up a completely different show instead of the one I'm trying to watch. When I did the vudu speed test on my laptop the speeds (54mbps download/12mbps upload) were a fraction of the speeds I show on speedtest.net (202mbps download/340mbps upload). No other video apps are this slow on either device, I can browse and stream with zero delay.

    We would like to get to the bottom of this issue but we need some information from you. If you can PM (private message) me with the following details, it would be greatly appreciated. DO NOT POST THIS INFO ON THIS THREAD. This will help our engineers get a better sense on what's going on.

    -email address with Vudu
    -makes and model(s) of device(s) that you're experiencing a decrease in performance on
    -device ID(s) of said devices (settings > system info from within the Vudu app)
    -your ISP
    -router/modem make and model
    -your public IP (you can use this link to get your public IP https://www.whatismyip.com )

      Felipe, i have a Samsung KS800D and the Vudu app takes about 2 mins to load my library so i can watch a title. Every time i switch to cable or turn off the tv (even if by accident for like a second) the vudu app become non-functional unless i actually exit the Vudu app (and confirm that i want to exit). Then i need to reopen the app and wait 2 mins to watch a movie. It is beyond frustrating. It is making my wife hate Vudu. I have over 6100 movies. Please review the app on Samsug 4k smart tvs to make loading and watching faster. My buddy has an LG and it loads instantly.

        FelipeF I'm also having technical issues very similar to Becca's. I was in the hospital a couple of days last week and used the Vudu app to watch some saved content and had no problems. However, at home using the Smart TV app has been impossible the past couple of days, watching the same material. I?ve never had any problems before, and other apps like Netflix or Amazon Prime work fine. Should I send the same information that you requested from Becca?

            FelipeF Strangely enough, the past few times I?ve used Vudu it?s worked fine. Have there been any changes at your end? I?ll let you know if changes again?

              Are you using a Samsung TV? There was an issue fixed on Thursday, though we don't believe it was not directly related to the performance problems people are seeing. However, it is alway possible... if others have seen their UI performance problems improve as of this weekend please let us know (this problem seems limited to a small number of customers and has been very difficult to reproduce).

                    Don't worry, it isn't a VUDU problem, they keep blaming ISP for the issue, when every other service that is streaming is working fine. I'm still having issues with the loading times on my XBOX one X, but after a few messages, I'm just getting ignored by FelipeF. I have deleted and reinstalled the app on my Xbox, still slow to load. Slow to show the tiles for the movies and tv shows I own.

                      Having the same problem Jake and Filipe on my Roku Ultra and my Samsung 8 series smart TV. All other apps stream fine. Hulu, Netflix, YouTube. On Vudu I can't even get some titles to pull up. I select it and it just goes to a blank screen with a blank square as where the cover and title should be
