    Error code 28: operation timeout

    I have a samsung and LG DVD player. Both have VUDU preloaded. I just began having a problem with a screen that comes up : ?Failed to connect to the network. Press play to configure.. error code 28 operation timeout, then below the error code is hardware ID : LG028H7 X3CBDD8 3C91554E B52170C follows by device Id: 1898973 this is followed by the software version. I have unplugged them and replugged them without success. When I try to play movies on my phone all is well. Anyone have an answer?

    Have anything changed on your network? New equipment? Have you attempted to power-cycle your network equipment to see if that clears the issue?

      I?m having the exact same issue! Amazon, Netflix, everything else comes up & works fine. This issue has only started however after I?ve moved & gotten a new cable/satellite service with a new modem (which my last WiFi service didn?t need). So how does something like this get fixed or corrected?? Any ideas anyone?? We have over 500 movies in our Que & we can?t watch a single one!!! Help please!!!

        Vudu does not support satellite internet connections due to the extreme latency associated with this type of technology.

          Same issue here on my sanyo bluray. I'm connected to the internet but get error code 28 and can't connect to vudu

            I am having the same issue. If I remove my router from the equation Vudu will load fine. By remove the router I mean use my phone as my internet connection. If I connect my laptop directly to my modem it also, works.

            Just started a couple of weeks ago. Every other streaming service works through my router. I did a factory reset on the router and it still does not work. I have verified on multiple devices, XBOX, Roku, Internet browser, laptop, phone, TV will all load Vudu fine if I use my phone as a hot spot.

              Sounds like there's some blockage on your router. Perhaps the firewall rules are too strict and are not allowing you to communicate with our servers. Try lowering the ruleset and see if that works for you.
