    BEWARE SUPPORT REQUESTS

    I requested an account merge in April 2017. I did this because my original account email address will not be available to me in the future. So I was told that I could merge the movies in my original library to my new account using a Gmail address. After about a week, the merge occurred. But when I looked in my new account, only about 2/3 of my movies were listed and almost 100 of them were listed as SD instead of HDX. I contacted VUDU support and was told that there was an issue with the merge and they were working on it. After 8 months, I'm now being told that they CAN'T fix the issue. So I've got movies spread across two accounts, one account I may not ever get access to again. I've got movies that came over in a lesser quality and I can't do anything about that, either. VUDU DOES NOT CARE. They refuse to do anything about it. Their mistake is solely my problem. I have spent THOUSANDS & THOUSANDS of dollars on VUDU. THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING! I have called MANY times. Support supervisors won't even talk to me anymore because they are embarrassed. The same supervisors that said they would FIGHT FOR ME during their management meetings. WATCH WHAT YOU ASK FOR. Even if they say they can do something, DO NOT TRUST THEM. I have lost so much time and money because of them. I don't even know if they'll keep this post up for you to read. If it comes down to making things right for you or dropping you because of an inconvenient problem for them, THEY WILL DROP & FORGET YOU. Don't ask to talk to anybody higher up, either. They will claim there is nobody higher to talk to. I guess there is no management.

    Sorry, I am not in customer care and can't help you with merging issues - but you can just change your email address on the Vudu website. Plus, having access to the email account itself does not affect your ability to log into Vudu anyway, it's just used as a username. So you should be able to log in and change it to any address that is not already used on an existing Vudu account here:

      If I understand you right, you're talking about changing my email address in my account info. I know that is separate from the login. But this is what I was told that I needed to do by VUDU. If there was another way, it should have been mentioned when I told them what my issue was. Another example of VUDU's own tech support not knowing how anything works. I see you're in engineering. Engineering was the department that messed my account up. You got a mix and match error, or something. And why was I told that you COULD do this when, in fact, you COULDN'T? And I'm the one that has to pay for it. And could you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me the number and extension to SOMEBODY in management?

        I HATE any kind of threats. But I can't be the only one that this is happened to. I can't be the only one that VUDU has screwed because they don't want to fix any kind of mess they've made. There has to be some kind of case for a class-action lawsuit against you. You can't be allowed to take advantage of me or anybody else.

            Yes I do. The case is actually still open. The reference # is: 170426-000550. My last conversation ended badly because I was told that they weren't going to do anything more and I was just crap out of luck. I got very irate and started yelling about how unfair this was. The support rep ended up hanging up on me. I feel really bad about that.

              So what can be done? Is VUDU going to admit that I have basically been screwed over? WILL YOU ACTUALLY MAKE THINGS RIGHT? I was told that my movies could be easily merged from one account into another. And now that I find out you can't make good on that because nobody in your engineering department knows how to program your own software, I'm the one that has to pay for it? Do you guys think this is fair? Are you, in fact, just going to drop me and my problem? Is this what you do to your customers?
