It's 2022, isn't it time for a "start from the beginning" functionality?

@FelipeF I find it really aggravating that when I want to rewatch a movie or tv series it picks near the end of the movie or tv episode. This is even more aggravating when trying to watch a TV series and it auto starts the next episode to only then also start near the end and so on. This has been complained about for years and is functionality every other streaming service has. Can we get this functionality placed on top of Vudu's roadmap?

Agreed... this is annoying when trying to re-watch something and it starts near the end of the episode or movie.

FYI... It appears this has been partially addressed, at least for movies, in the new app recently rolled-out to Roku devices. A small "Start from Beginning" button (depicted as a small circular arrow icon) has been added just right of the [Resume] button.

      See the following image example:

No such luck for TV episodes, though, though there is plenty of room to add this small button to the display. (I haven't tested Autoplay to check its behavior.)

        Not entirely true.

The Continue Watching pop-up dialog does offer a [Start Over] button:

And the episode details page accessed via the [See Details] button on the Continue Watching pop-up dialog now includes the tiny circular arrow "restart" button:

The ability to start over from the TV Shows episodes listings, though, remains unavailable:

Just need to add the tiny "restart" button to each in-progress episode in the listings.

p.s. In addition to the "restart" button, the in-progress episodes in the TV Shows episodes listings, those showing progress bars and having [Resume] buttons, should also include text indicating the viewing time remaining.

Where is the "Continue Watching" pop-up dialog? All I see is "Resume." I can't fast forward to start over, and I can't rewind to start over. How do I watch a movie from the beginning? I've even let it play all the way to the end TWICE, but it's still stuck on "Resumer" (at about 16 minutes from the end). HELP!

I agree there need to bed a restart button. I know it shows up sometimes, that's because every platform has to have a different software program. Also if I already own it, why does it ask me to rent it? Send a memo to ask the different programmers to check their code for restart?

Literally registered for this forum to put in a request for a 'Start from Beginning' button for TV shows/movies. I have some TV series downloaded and they all state 'Resume' when there's a minute or two left of the show. Even in the 'Continue Watching' section I had about 4 episodes up there because I didn't watch through the credits. Had to go back to each of those episodes and fast forward to the end. Please implement this little thing. It'd be so nice.

Vudu's app/website needs a massive overhaul. There have not been any truly useful changes in at least a decade.
