The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     Nexus tablet problems

    I have yet to be able to download UV movies through the app on my Nexus 10 or my kid's nexus7s. They are all updated to 4.2.2. WiFi and internet is strong. Support has had me clear caches and delete the app, shutdown then reinstall without success. I click download and the status just says preparing or paused or waiting. Is this version of android supported on these devices? Any ideas?

    The answer for supporting Nexus 10, and 7 is YES. I hope you are at the latest version 1.2.205 (which fixed many of the download issue).
    I am not sure where to begin, let check the following:
    - Please go to Setting/Storage and get the available disc space. Please let us know if it has special partition such that the OS partition has only < 1GB left. VUDU App uses the primary partition in the current release
    - If you have disc space, please go to My VUDU/My Downloads and check to see if you have any download in there. If you see any, please delete all of them.
    - Please add 1 download at a time to see if it works for you. Note that it may take up to 1 minute and 30 seconds for the progress bar to start. For that I would suggest to have longer timeout to sleep with Display setting. The download will not progress if the device goes to sleep mode.

      Thank you for your reply.

      I have close to 19GB open storage. There are no partitions showing. No downloads are showing in My Downloads.

      The download progress still says "preparing" after 15 minutes. I have done multiple uninstalls/reinstalls and reboots and cleared caches multiple times.

      Any chance of a conflict with another app?

        We have a report such that an older Adobe Air version can cause VUDU many undesired issues. Can you please check if you have Air installed? If so can you please update to current 3.6?

        After that Air upgrade, please delete the user data/cache of VUDU App and try again.

          I have Adobe Air but it is version 3.6. I uninstalled Adobe Air and Vudu, rebooted and reinstalled Vudu without Air. Still, when I go to download it says "preparing" and never changes. ReInstall the latest Adobe Air and no change.

            Now I am running out of idea as we have never seen this type of issue in the lab, or other customer.
            Please tell us if your tablet has any special setup (rooted, updated bootloader, recovery, encrypted ...)
            If you turn on Developer Options, please tell us if you checked or turned on anything.

            If you are familiar with adb (Android tool), we would like to get some log from the tablet.

              I have no special options that I know of. And, this same problem happens on my 2 kids' Nexus 7s. It does not seem to be related to internet setup as we've seen it on all of our devices at 3 separate locations with different ISP's. But, I will look into the Developer Options and become familiar with the "adb" to get a log. Is there any chance it is something related to our Vudu account/ UV account since it is happening on all of our devices?

              Uodate - I have looked at the Developer Options and the only thing checked is "Stay awake (never sleep during charging)". Looking into "adb", that looks fairly complex, but I will see if I can learn it and get a log.

                          I looked at the issue and it seems to hit the limit of 5 device/account. Your Asus tablet might have taken the last 5th available slot. You would have to go to your device management page to remove not in use device.
