Okay I don't have a Samsung. I have an HTC One M9 and service through AT&T. I also keep getting the "Unfortunately Vudu has stopped" message whenever I try to play a video. I have the most up to date version of the app.

Can some one from Vudu please tell me what is going on with this APP.

I just updated my phone to 5.1.1 and updated vudu's app on Oct 22, 2015; and everything works GREAT now. Thanks VUDU for finally getting this taken care of.

    Sigh..
The 5.1.1 rollout just happened on AT&T today, and VUDU still does not work on my S6 edge.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.... I can't download or stream and VUDU content I have purchased.

Nice to know that this is not an isolated issue, I recently became a vudu member and I installed the app on my S6 and tried to watch my purchased content and it crashes. I thought it was something I did.

It's not just the S6 and S6 Edge. It's not working on the G4 and if memory serves, it quit working ln my G3 before I upgraded to the G4. It had also quit working on my laptop after it upgraded to Windows 10 but an update to Vudu2Go fixed that. The app works fine on my Note 10.1 2014 with Kitkat 4.4.4. On my G4 it just keeps reloading the app and won't download any of my movies. Don't get any error messages just reloads the app every few seconds.

Okay Vudu get it together! You tell us that the update to 5.1.1 on the Galaxy S6 Edge would fix the issue. However, the update gets pushed to my Verizon phone today and again it still does not work. When will this crap ever get fixed? I love Vudu. Love it on the Roku, but I like so many others want to watch it on multiple devices like on my phone. Google play movies works, Amazon Instant Video works, Netflix, Hulu Plus, Flixster, Cinemanow all work on my phone. Vudu does not update their Android app since December 2014 (9 months ago now) and we are told that this 5.1.1 version will fix it all. We get the update and it doesn't work!!! Vudu, please show us that you care about this issue and let us know why this can't ever get RIGHT while so many of your competitors tend to be getting it RIGHT! Please Vudu, I beg you to help out your customers. Maybe, it is time to do a rewrite of the app altogether so it will work on Android.

Sorry, but there is no further answer anyone at VUDU can give you. Samsung fixed the bug in their firmware and has provided their Lollipop 5.1.1 update to the carriers (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc). For whatever reason they are taking their own sweet time to push it out. We want it released ASAP as much as anyone!

Same feeling here. About 75% of my movie viewing is on my phone and not having the primary service I relied on for months has been frustrating. To access all of the UV content I could normally watch on Vudu, I split between Flixster (TV shows and new purchases) and MGo (old purchases that require a search query). Google Play's reliability and access to my Disney and HBO purchases however is very enticing, even without UV capability. Please fix this soon! Or, you know, use that Walmart might to force Samsung/Google/UV/Digital Video Gods/whoever the hell else receives the figure-pointing to fix the problem. It's things like this that make Walled Gardens more appealing.

Can we PLEASE get some sort of update that you can place under your app in the Google play store let us customers know EXACTLY what is being done to fix this problem and some sort of time table as to when it'll be fixed!?! I'm tired of hearing you are aware of the situation, we know you are aware. What we want to know is, what are you DOING to fix the problem and WHEN can we expect it to be fixed.
This is now in Samsungs and the cell carriers hands. The fix should go out any moment now according to our last communication.
