    I'm having this same problem. I get this error for all movies or a License error.

      It's the vudu app that's messed up.
      I just did the VUDU app update few minutes ago and after I couldn't download any movie. Last night I was able to download on both. So I started searching and I came across this thread. I uninstalled and reinstalled it on my iPad Pro and iPad Air 2. It's downloading on both now. Now I need to do it on my daughter's iPad Air 2.

        I'm having this issue as well on my 256gb iPad Pro. It was downloading perfectly fine, but after the latest updates, it brings up this error after fully downloading the movies and when attempting repair or clicking 'retry', it still has the error. At first I had an error that I believe was related to possibly having too many devices attached to my VUDU account, so I deleted all of them and reconnected just the 5 I use most. Was fine for a while, but now it's not. I believe it is a software issue with the new updates. I'm going to try logging out of my VUDU account on the app and relogin... if that doesn't work, I will try deleting and reinstalling the app. I don't want to lose the movies that it did successfully download, though, while I'm traveling and have no consistent wifi to access for downloads. VUDU support, if you need more info to help, let me know.

          I just posted my problems with the downloads; here are my details:

          iPad Pro 256gb with cellular capabilities
          ISP? Bardstown Internet in Bardstown, KY
          Cell Provider? Verizon Wireless
          Router used on your Wifi network? Linksys Cisco N600? (not at home to find specifics, but shouldn't be the issue as it hasn't changed since the downloads worked the other day - only thing changed is iOS update to 10.1.1 & update to latest VUDU app.)
          Ddi you just update the iOS version on your device? YES
          iOS version? 10.1.1
          Vudu app version? 5.0.1 (171710)

            No solution to this yet? Going to be a long flight for the holidays without a movie to watch on my iPad.

            Spectrum 300mbs wifi
            IOS 10.2
            VUDU 5.0.2

            Error on all movies in library. Even one that I deleted and tried to re downlowd

              Same here. Error on all movies downloaded. Reaches 100%, errors witha licensing error. I called support today and they said it is only affecting Apple devices. They are awRe but don't know the issue yet.

                Is there a fix to this yet? I haven't been able to download a movie onto my ipad for a couple months. I use this service above others primarily because I travel a lot and like to be able to download and watch movies on flights. It's beginning to become a waste of my time and money.

                  I see that the issue has not been resolved. In case it helps...

                  I am trying to download using on my home xfinity wifi.
                  xfinity router -- that's all I know
                  Cellular data is turned off for Vudu, but my cell provider is AT&T. (I tried it with cellular data too. Both failed.)
                  This is my first attempt to download movies to my phone: iPhone 6 ios 10.2
                  Vudu version 5.0.2

                              I am having this issue currently with a Samsung Galaxy 5. It is current on the Android version 6.0.1 and the VUDU app.

                              Another issue I noticed is that I have lost the ability to move the VUDU app to an External Storage Device, i.e. MicroSD card. There will be space issues with movie downloads to most devices because of this.

                                I'm having the same issues on iPad Pro using iOS 10.2.1, and App version 5.03. Started in same location and 90+ percent downloaded and then it fails with said error message. Very very frustrating. Looking for solution would like to know what the latest progress is on this matter.
