      I've just uninstalled and reinstalled the app (on an iPhone 7 Plus) and that seemed to have resolved this error. I am now able to download my movies.

                **SOLUTION**

                The solution was mentioned earlier and I will just repeat it. Uninstall and reinstall the app on iPad/iPhone.

                I have an iPad Pro. It doesn't matter what connection type you have. The app had worked before on this iPad but I did a restore of the iPad Pro so had to re-download the movies. This time when I tried downloading I received the download error 3328:898. So knowing it had worked before I searched to see what might be the issue. When you scroll through this thread you the find one user that says he uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked. So I did that and BINGO! They started downloading successfully again.

                My suggestion is to remove the app and reinstall and then try one download. Do a smaller one so you aren't waiting long. If it doesn't download successfully, try restoring the device and then reinstalling the app.

                      I also ran into that problem on my iPhone 7 plus with the 3328:898 error when I tried loading in the entire Breaking Bad TV series.

                      In my situation, I was also downloading the series on a laptop logged into the same account simultaneously on the same home wifi network.

                      I don't know if this is a factor for anyone else, but when I finished downloading to the outside laptop and logged out completely, I was able to download everything into my iPhone without any issues and without the need to reset or reload anything.

                      It's a possibility that if more than one device is logged in simultaneously, downloading may not work. I have NOT attempted to download this to another device using a separate network (such as cellular or another wifi point) so I don't know what the result would be. This is only a guess so I can't guarantee this is a solution, but it did work for me.

                      Using iPhone 7 plus with iOS 10.2.1 with Vudu 5.1 app on Verizon Cellular downloading from Cox Communication wifi network.

                        I have downloaded some movies on Vudu to go on my laptop. I started watching one of them and had to stop the movie as I had to go somewhere. When I went to watch it again I keep getting an error message.
                        "Oops! This movie won't play on your display due to copyright restrictions. It can be played only if both your output and display support HDCP. [#3342]"
                        I don't know why I keep getting this as it was working previously. It won't play any of the movies I've downloaded.

                          I have a ton of movies and I cannot download them. I attempted to reinstall the app, same issue (after deleting 45G of downloaded movies). Then I wiped the iPad Air 2 and reinstalled everything. Now I have no movies or TV shows and it won't download any of them to my iPad. This is an iPad Air 2 running IOS 10.3.1(14E304).

                          I do have an iPad 2 running IOS 9.2(13C75) and it works fine.

                          Please work on getting this fixed. I have way too many movies and have spent way too much money on these movies to not get to watch them. We have waited long enough for a fix....

                                I was having the same problem. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Vudu app seemed to work for me on my iPad Pro. After the reinstall I downloaded 2 movies with no issues. Hopefully it lasts since Vudu support seems non existent. I sent an email through their website support page regarding an issue with my account and after 3 days still no response at all yet.
