    I have the failed download problem on my iPad Pro. When it happens I power down and power my iPad back on. It will work for a few weeks and then happen again. I re-boot the iPad again and it seems to correct the problem for a while

      Interesting. Next time I have the error (and I'm sure it will happen again) I'll give that a try before uninstalling / reinstalling and see what happens. That would be an easier fix. Thing is I'm using the latest app so even when I do the reinstall I'm simply reinstalling the same version I deleted so something must be causing the app to break after installation.

        Just had this issue I think it's caused by a licensing issue. There are three different services. Vudu. UltRaviolet. Flixster. I have activated movies with all three services and then they linked to each other so ultraviolet lInks to flixster and so on. UV does not have an app so you will need the Flixster app as well as the Vudu app everything I could not activate and download on VUDU I was successfully able to download on Flixster hope this helps

            I am getting this too. I'm on a plane Thursday so I wanted to download some movies to my Ipad. I keep getting 'Problem Downloading - Download failed (0xA3)'

            My ISP is Verizon/Fios
            Cell Provider is AT&T
            Not sure on the Router
            I did indeed just update the iOS. Just last night, in fact
            iOS 10.3.3
            Vudu Version 5.2 (183631)

              I'm trying to download onto my ipad 10.3.3 version and the error 0xA3 is coming up on every movie I'm trying to download. How do I fix it??

                I found that I was able to download 1 movie per day. I tried the reinstall with no luck and it started me back to square one with my downloads. My android devices have no issues. It's solely iOS. I want to say the error is some sort of download limitation. I have error 0xA3 also.

                          I started having this same issue recently (following a restore of my iPhone), and think I stumbled upon a solution. After trying everything I read in this forum (to no avail) - deleting/reinstalling the app (no), unlinking/relinking UV library (Vudu, Flixster, etc.) (no) - I started poking around within the Vudu settings (from the website, not through the app).

                          It seems that deregistering the device and having the app re-register it (upon the next login to the app) did the trick.

                          Evidently Vudu assigns a device ID (such as 0x#, where # is 0-9) to each device that is signed into the app from the user account. I'm guessing that somewhere in the validation process (where licenses are checked, supposedly), the device IDs weren't matching somewhere - I can't prove that, again it's just a guess.

                          I deregistered everything, for good measure. No doubt I'll have to sign back into my iPad the same way.

                          Try this and see whether it works for you. I've just had a second consecutive successful download while writing this reply.

                            Had the same issue (on a 7+), and finally figured it out with these steps: (had made a lengthier reply last night, but it hadn't appeared as of yet)

                            - Sign out of the Vudu iOS app
                            - Log into http://www.vudu.com (if on a mobile device, choose "Go to full website")
                            - From your user account info in the upper right corner, choose "Manage devices"
                            - Delete any registered devices which appear - they should be added back upon next login to the app
                            - Log back into the Vudu app, and attempt download once again

                            Like I said, I started getting the same error - and like others, this was the first attempt at downloading following a device restore. I'm surmising that the device ID (possibly used for UV license validation) changed following the OS restore, but the Vudu account still had the old device ID registered.

                            Once I did that, I was able to download three of my titles in succession. No hiccups whatsoever.

                            See if this helps.

                              I ran into this issue as well.

                              I removed my device from my account and re-added the device. However what i noticed was I typically have renamed my devices to more easily identify them on my account. After I re-added the device I renamed it on the web interface and then ran into this error again. So I removed it again, but this time I didn't rename my device and everything is working properly.
