I cant get UHD movies to play on Windows 10 laptop. Its a Dell XPS 15 9570, Intel Core: i7-8750 2.2 GHZ, 16 GB Ram, Windows 10 64 bit. All current Windows updates. All current Dell updates. Thru Windows Store, HEVC is installed. Im using the VUDU app thru Windows Store. Computer has 2 Video cards: Intel UHD Graphics 630 and Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti with Max Q design. I followed these directions to tell Windows 10 to use the GTX 1050 for the Universal App: VUDU
https://pureinfotech.com/set-gpu-app-windows-10/. When I pull up "oblivion" movie which is a Universal Pictures, it says I own UHD, but playback options at the botton only say HDX and SD. Tried Blade Runner 2049, which is Warner Bros. Same thing, says I own UHD but only playing back in HDX. (no option at the bottom for UHD) My download speeds 300 up and 300 down (should be no issues here at all)
I also went into the Nvidia Control Panel and changed 3D Settings, Global Preferred Graphics Processor to use High Performance Nvidia Processor. Then went into Set Physx Configuration to GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.
Compatability list s below which I appear to hit all these:
Any suggestions?
