    Anything and Everything?

Really? We can post about anything and everything?

So anybody know any dumb jokes? I'll start.

Q: What happened to the ant on the toilet seat?
    A: He got ****ed off.

I would normally say something like: "you're joking, right?" but clearly you are... )

Did you find the equipment ordering process easy?

I think the ordering process on Vudu.com was pretty easy...

The only strange thing was after I ordered the box I got a call from my bank checking for credit card fraud. Apparantly the entire purchace the box + purchase the movie credit in 2 separate charges seems suspicious to them...

Can't wait till they ship. =]

Well luckily I get the chance to play around with it every day in my cubicle. Hehe. Sadly I have to do some work too with it so it's not all fun and games... just mostly fun and games.

Hmmm I can't wait to get a fresh black box and plug it into my tv at home.

What movie should I rent first is the biggest question I have... any suggestion guys? What movie should I rent on my box's maiden rental?!

So are you a Vudu employee or a media person?

What movie do you want to rent is more of the question? What do you like to watch?

If you've never seen it, Deathtrap with Michael Caine, Christopher Reeve, and Dyan Cannon is a "sit on the edge of your seat" murder mystery that I'd highly recommend.

Oooh. I like 300 but they portray the persians in a negative light. I happen to be half persian. Haha. Oh well. It's an entertaining movie.

I have never seen Deathtrap. Hmmm. I will look at the preview...

I like Michael Caine so it might be a winner but who knows. I still have time before the box arrives at my door so I am not rushing into any decisions..

We all get portrayed in a negative light every now and then. I am part Hun and look what they do to us in the Capitol One Visa commercial. I never shoved a Christmas tree though a car window in my life...

Standing by and watching the other Huns do it does make you partially guilty by tacet endorsement. How many times have you tried to stop the other Huns from doing this? Have you even tried to bring this topic up at the Huns meetings?

There is no local chapter in my neighborhood. Maybe I should petition the Huns national organization?

Oh yeah. The only drawback is that at present the Vudu version isn't in DD5.1. But the video quality is absolutely unbelievable. I don't know how it could look any better in HD! And it's a great movie. Yeah, the Persians are overdone. They didn't have trolls or ogre's or undead men fighting for them. And while Xerxes may have had elephants (the empire extended into India), he most certainly didn't have Rhinos and definitely not one as big as shown!

Still, the story is told in the form of Greek legend and as such, the true events that made their way into legend had aspects that were quite embellished...

This was a phenomenal movie and unless you have a strong dislike for violence or blood, see the movie.
