A massive Well Done to the Vudu engineers, I'm guessing there may have been a few sleepless nights getting this update together, the hard work is appreciated by your customers.

Maybe we should all head over to the apple forums and gloat now?
You call it gloating, but in reality, we need to do that just because. Even when the apple tv update comes out, I doubt it will be viewable that fast. If enough people start talking about little features that outdo apples here and there on THEIR turf, more and more will be curious enough to try Vudu out and maybe the word will spread. Apple never will fall, but itd be nice to see Vudus name become more common. Just think of the average Joe who never heard of Vudu and is browsing an apple forum to learn about it. If he starts seeing posts about how Vudu compares and outdoes apple in many areas, maybe we can sway some people.

Anyways, just on a rant...at least its a good one...

You have 30 days to view them. But once you start watching it you have a 24 hour window to view them.
By renting them I guess i basically lined them up in the queue so when I sit down to look at them(I'm watching The Core now) the whole movie will be there for me to fast forward through.
It does seem to take exactly 4mbs bandwidth from my INternet connection for the HD downloads. I just started a bunch of downloads between my two VUDU boxes, my FIOS STB and two of my Xbox 360s and I still have 5mbs of download bandwidth left out of the 30mbs I have with FIOS.

And some of us still call them records!!! And have bought the record, 8 track tape, cassette and CD of the same 'album'. Have to support those aging rockers.

Lots of titles. I just rented these HD titles. The Core, Transformers, and Star Trek 2:The Wrath of Khan. A new release, one only 2 or 3 years old, and an older title to see how they look.

I was ecstatic to see 100% rentability. I'm not saying that I'd be angry to have the purchase option but I plan only to rent so it wouldn't make me any happier.

Apple definitely has its share or problems. There are a number of issues with their iPhone and Bluetooth compatability for instance. They have a lot of unhappy customers.

It should. The seeding is going out gradually to everyone so as to not overtax the system.

A company that delivers on its promises, how refreshing. Congrats Vudu for getting it out on time as promised. The UI seems to have gotten even slicker. Even the small things like, I don't know if it is a different font or size or both but even the text in the settings section seems easier to read. Or is it my imagination. I do have a question. Are all the new HD movies going to be rent only for know or has my box not finished updating yet. All 65 of mine are rent only. I was actually looking forward to purchasing as well.
