The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Fandango at Home customers with questions and/or problems with their Fandango at Home service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Fandango at Home Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

    Just read some of the user suggested excuses on the Apple boards...there are some real whoppers. One guy actually tried to blame Microsoft for Apple's delay...

    So it looks like Vudu can keep on schedule and deliver what it promises better than Apple when it comes to VOD.

    Oh gee, I want to do that...But it would ruin the surprise....

    Let's put it this way:

    There is about 64 movies right now at my last count. Some of them are 2007/2008 releases. There are also movies going back to 1972 or so. Some of the older releases include titles such as Officer and a Gentleman, The Presidio, and a few movies from a particularly popular Sci-Fi franchise.

    The rest I'll leave to others...

    Wooo Hoooo.....instant delivery HD movies are comming. 1.2 has been released and I see some folks have already got it....

    Let us know who got it and when you start to see the HD titles.

    Its good to see that all the hard work and testing that has been done is now out in the wild....enjoy everyone.

    I just turned on one of my Vudus and see a screen telling me that it just did an upgrade and measured my quality for HD. It says I am good to go with over 4 MB. I'll try it out later. My wife is watching an SD movie on another Vudu.

    However, it isn't showing any new HD movies yet. I guess that will come later.

    We are trying to get an estimate of when the build will be released. I am still hoping for today. As soon as we know anything or can tell you, we will let you know.

    I believe the database that everyone has is the same as we have now. So it should be right away. I can't imagine why Vudu would not seed the movies to everyone first.

    At this time I don't know. VUDU is constantly receiving DB updates. It is possible that there could be "pre-seeded" content in the database just waiting for a new software version.
