    Vudu Labs On LG BD390?

New user here on LG's BD390. I was really looking forward to this upgrade and I must say that the movies from Vudu look Great! The streaming is very fast and I love the quality of the movies I have viewed thus far!

I was REALLY looking forward to being able to listen to Pandora on my system with this new update. I have seen other posts where it appears that on Vudu devices that the users have a "Vudu Labs" tab apparently.

But on the LG BD390 there is no tab or any other way to access Vudu Labs, and all the fun goodies Vudu has there. Does anyone know if Vudu Labs is going to become available to us BD390 users? Or is Vudu keeping it on Vudu manufactured devices only?

I Really want my Pandora on my system...........

Re: Vudu Labs On LG BD390?

    I feel your pain.

The Samsung BD-P2550 i have upstairs has an atrocious Pandora interface with minuscule menus. If the BD390 will allow Pandora with the Vudu implementation i will buy a second one.

Another thing i loathe about the BD390 is the lack of decent buffering power.

      Hi bd390,

I also own a LG BD-390 and was very bummed about the non Apps. To my knowledge, LG is the only company that has opted out to VUDU apps. I have emailed LG BD-390 device support a couple times about the issue and received no replies.

The LG BD390 Is great, but unfortunately, if you want to maximize your VUDU experience, you must purchase a non LG device.

      Best Regards,
      Aaron Scovel

Re: Vudu Labs On LG BD390?

I have the new LG BD590 and have Pandora. According to LG there are no plans set right now for a firmware upgrade to recieve Pandora on the 390. Also VUDU told me LG doesn't have any plans on the VUDU apps like Facebook etc. to be added, which is a bummer but I think they will in the near future.....That sucks about the BD390 though.....VUDU apps is available on the new Samsung and vizio blu-ray but LG
