    Thoughts?
It's supposed to run on the same Atom processor as the Boxee Box.
It will be running the Boxee Software so you would think it would have the same applications too.

Yeah, this has possibilities for me, I'll have to monitor it's developments........But for right now, my VUDU box is doin' the job beautifully.......It should, it was built from the ground up BY the VUDU team......

I'm looking forward to VUDU on the Boxee Box later this week so I can put my BX100 boxes to bed.

Will it allow for downloads of HDX, and not streaming?

Ive not really looked at the Boxee, but I see it has no internal HDD, but you can connect an external. That makes it interesting. I ONLY have 6mbps DSL, so if I cannot download full HDX and watch later, I have to stay with the BX100.

From what I've read, one of these units unit can accommodate up to 2 TB drives......I don't know in what direction the studios and VUDU will go in relation to the downloading process....Will they allow downloading on this unit? Maybe, if it is connnected to the 'Net at all times......With 2TB of storage, that may work for me.......Also I read from one of the VUDU admins that a software update coming this month will address the issue of playing movies while offline....It only applies to the BX100, and only purchased movies up to October 13, 2010 could be stored, movies purchased after that can only be streamed.....Amazing how they are so keeping the little train that could just chugging along...

Hear ya, Elway, If VUDU movies can be downloaded to this box, I may pounce, but as I said, I will wait for more details......This thing may be the ticket for you too......I do not like the shape of the Boxee Box, it would look terrible with the aesthetics of my HT.......I'm just waiting for another set top to choose from......
