PS3 vs. VUDU 100 BOX Buffering Issues

I have no problem streaming HDX on PS3, but on the Vudu 100 Box it is super slow with constant buffer issues.... even if the test shows full green bar

Last night not even HD was steaming properly on the Vudu Box so I switched to PS3.

The image is better from the VUDU box, so I would prefer to use it.... however I don't understand the constant buffering problems....

    thanks

Don't understand how image could be better on VuDU Box, when PS3 has full 1080p capabilities. Perhaps you should check the video settings on PS3. I have (3) PS3s with excellent image quality.

What are the display settings on your PS3? Could it be that you have it setup to a lower resolution?

For me it's the opposite. The PS3 is the worst device I have for streaming VUDU. My BX100's don't have the issues the PS3 has. And the best devices I have for VUDU streaming are my Boxee Boxes. With my LG player coming in second.
Although I plan on dropping all my VUDU enabled devices in favor of VUDU on the Boxee Box. I just need to get two more Boxee Boxes and I will be all set with four of them.

No, new movies play OK on HDX whereas older movies have buffering issues on the Vudu box - I am pretty sure this is not an issue on my end since test of bandwidth always shows full green bar.

My comment was about video quality, not buffering.

I still think that Vudu 100 is better but maybe its just me being used to it.... I have a 60" Kuro calibrated and detail is definitely better on the Vudu 100, but PS3 is very close...
