How do I access Vudu if the movie app is not in my blu-ray player?

    Hello,
Sorry if this topic has come up before. I didn't see it anywhere.
Anyway, I just became a Vudu member but my blu-ray player did not come with the Vudu app.
Is there a way to install it? I have done a software update recently but it made no difference.
Any info on this will be welcome. Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like VUDU is available on the model.

That's disappointing. Will it ever be available on the model?
          Are there any other solutions?
          Thanks!

I'm not sure if it will be or not at this point. There are a lot of devices that do carry the VUDU app currently. http://www.vudu.com/devices.html.

You can always use your computer to watch SD titles as well.

Yeah, I was in the same boat as you are, there were only four apps available on my old Samsung blu-ray. I really wanted to have access to Vudu, so I bought a new Sony at Costco, the price was super reasonable in my opinion. I lost the Blockbuster app., but I really don't care since they are only offering standard definition because they're lazy. I don't regret getting a new player in the least, you should do it, otherwise you're stuck.
