But what I was referring to was a Stewie flashback that I watched in the latest episode fo Family Guy last Sunday on FOX primetime.

It was definitely part of a real Family Guy episode.

It didn't show anything explicit, just Stewie's and Brian's faces while they watched an internet video. They left it up to your imagination as to what they were watching.

I found it very funny because I have a wild imagination. My wife watched it with me too and she had a totally different interpretation. So as far I was concerned no harm done.
Ok. So I now understand. You have no idea what the real origin of the idea for the Family Guy clip was. Fair enough. The reality is that it was based on something so horrific that anybody who tried to "figure it out" (which you would do if you didn't find the Family Guy clip particularly funny and thought some context might help) would have come across either the original video or a description of it. Either of which would have profoundly disturbed most people (hence the reaction videos).

The weird thing I don't understand is that, because it is based on that original disgusting video, that had to be the point of the joke on Family Guy. If you found it funny and weren't aware of it, then I don't see how you could have really "got" the Family Guy thing.

I'm not sure what "original" video you're referring to. So I guess there's always the possibility I didn't really get it, with the intent that was meant.

But most every thing is open to ones own interpretation. Some people call art pornography. And some people call pornography art. That's why I like the freedom to have discussions. Unless someone is so very biased about their own view of the world, usually the discussions leaves the participants with new perspectives to contemplate.

I found it interesting that a group a people were trying to ban Sponge Bob Square Pants because it supposedly brain washed little kids to be gay.

When the writer was confronted with this accusation, he said "come on, it's just simply a sponge in an aquatic playground."

Now Pee-Wee Herman's playhouse is an altogether different story.

Well given that the title of the disgusting video was given and could be Googled for and shows up in Wikipedia, there is zero chance that that is not what is being referred to. So from that perspective, it isn't really open to interpretation.

I challenge you to find out more about it and come back and say how you think some people could find it artistic. Some things just aren't. Now that's not to say that I think it should be censored or anything. I strongly believe in the right to free speech. But then again, I have the right to say something is inappropriate in a particular setting and state my own opinions about those who make disgusting videos like that.

Well I didn't know it was reference to some other video. So I guess that makes me the ignorant one here.

I'm not sure I want to go look for something more sinister than what I thought I saw on "Family" Guy. You've officially scared me now.

Well see that's my point about freedom of discussion. I now have a new perspective on life from it. It appears to be even worse than imagined.

I didn't know either until someone here mentioned it. Then I found that reaction video that was on the page that someone had linked with the trophy clip. I thought the reaction video was kind of funny, of course all this time I had absolutley no idea what was actually on the video, and like a dumbass I had to find it and look at it. It was disturbing to me. Almost as much as the other video(like a dumbass again) I watched the decapitation of a captured US citizen in the Middle East. It took me a while to recover from that and get the images out of my head.

On another note, why doesn't my spell checker work on this forum? This is the only forum I'm on that it doesn't work with. I use ieSpell.

The only person that really knows if the Family Guy episode really refers to that specific video every one is talking about or if it's just a coincidence, is Seth. Maybe someone could ask him. He might just say "come on, it's just simply a sponge in an aquatic playground".

Family Guy has multiple episodes where Peter has extended scenes battling a rooster. I'm sure I could find multiple sites that have videos of **** fights, both human and animal. But I don't know if that's where he got the inspiration to create it.

I even previously posted that I sold a web name called "AmPage.com" to a band called "AmpAge.com". Just pure coincidence. (But made some good money).

So I don't know if it is just coincidence or not, but I don't think the kangaroo court just rule that it is without knowing the real answer.

                              Best Regards

Not sure why your checker of choice doesnt' work. However, there is a spell checker built into the post editing interface (ABC "check" in upper right hand corner).
