Actually PR may become a state soon. It has already voted to become a state, congress just has to approve it.

I was not able to enter my credit card information because Puerto Rico does not appear in the State dialogue box as it should. Not only Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States, it is the only U.S. territory within customs area of the United States. In the Code of Federal Regulations, "Customs territory of the United States" is defined as including only the States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico." 19 C.F.R. ? 101.1. Insular possessions such as the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands are outside the U.S. customs area.

Moreover, all persons born in Puerto Rico are citizens of the United States at birth. 8 U.S.C. ? 1402. Where else in the world could persons be born American citizens but in the United States?

Therefore, when a VUDU representative states that its service is only available in the United States with the exclusion of Puerto Rico, I am offended.
That's because PR is a territory and not a State. So when is PR becoming the 51st State?

    Re: Service in Puerto Rico

Just to let you know, I do have service in Puerto Rico.

I did also have Netflix service in Puerto Rico way before they allow the service in Puerto Rico.

I did have service because my Internet provider is AT&T.

I still do have the service.

    I leave in Bayamon.

Now my question to Vudu Stakeholders ($$$$) if Netflix folks were able to bring the service to PR. WHY YOU CAN'T?

Don't you want to make more money?

Will it cost you so much to stream movies thru our ISPs? We do have 3G, 4G, High speed DSL, DOCSIS 3.0 and WiMAX(soon). We don't use dial-up since 1995.

Soon the FCC will extend their low-cost broadband service program to our territory; Yes, eventually low income families will have high speed Internet (cable ISP) in their homes for less than $10.00.

Are you waiting for REDbox guys to dominated the market?

I live on Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands, also a US Territory. It seems that Vudu can easily solve this issue by simply adding Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands, Guam IP blocks to there database....that's it...problem solved.
Please hurry between all the US territories there are around a million households.

Hello VUDU? PR is part of USA and we use the same money (US dollar) and wallmart knows that, because they have liked 20 supercenters here. If the ignoramos are the studios then work that with them.
