    Silliy N00b questiion but...

If I buy a movie HD for the TV, can I watch it SD on the PC or will Vudu want to make me to buy the SD version as well?

If you rent a movie in HD, you'll be able to watch it in HD or SD on your TV and in SD on your PC.

N00b with a bunch of questions before I start purchasing

Does the license for a purchase movie ever expire, so that I lose a movie I have purchased?

Why am I only seeing an option to purchase SD movies?

Could I get a higher resolution movie and then play it on a lower resolution setup, like my computer? Like, could I get an HD movie and then play it in SD on my computer.

How do I put an unavailable movie on my wishlist? I see a wishlist with the option to have an email sent to me to alert me when it becomes available, but I don't see how to get movies that aren't currently available on the wishlist.

Can I remove a device from one of my 5 devices?
Say I have used my five devices and got a new computer, can I remove it from the old computer and then put it on my new computer? Or what if I want to change which five devices I use to access Vudu content?

But what if it was bought instead of being rented?

          ----It should not ever expire

Why am I only seeing an option to purchase SD movies?

----Some films are only available to own in SD, this will vary depending on the title and film studio.

Could I get a higher resolution movie and then play it on a lower resolution setup, like my computer? Like, could I get an HD movie and then play it in SD on my computer.

          ----Yes you can.

----If you don't see the title on the wishlist or VUDU service, you can request the film here on our forums. We pass these on to our content team all the time.

Can I remove a device from one of my 5 devices?

----Yes, you can remove devices from your account by logging into the VUDU website. The cap is 5 devices per account.

Say I have used my five devices and got a new computer, can I remove it from the old computer and then put it on my new computer? Or what if I want to change which five devices I use to access Vudu content?

----The computer will not count as a device, so you should be able to access your VUDU account from any computer you choose.

Okay, but I'm looking at X-Men: First Class, for example, and I can see that there are prices for the HD option. But I am only able to select the SD purchase. I think this has to do with the fact that I don't have a HD playing devices hooked up, but personally, I would prefer to buy an HD version so that if and when I get an HD device, I will have the movie for it rather than having to repurchase it and own both an SD and an HD version.

I understand what you mean, and that is correct. You won't be able to rent/own HD movies unless you have a device on your account that is capable of playing back that quality. I'd be happy to submit your feedback to see if it's possible to change this in the future.
