    VUDU for Google TV

I'm wondering whether VUDU for Google TV is in development.
I have a Sony Google TV BluRay player (NSZ-GT1) running Android 3.2.

    Anything in development?

    Ciao for now!

Have you tried going to Vudu.com and watching a movie? It should not need a special app like the iPhone.

I use Google TV as my primary internet streaming box and I don't think there is anyway to access Vudu as it stands now and an official Vudu application would be necessary. I believe the box has the processing power to handle Vudu and I also hope it is added but I don't think Vudu or Google announce upcoming applications so it will show up when it shows up or it will never show up is what I expect.

The Sony NSZ-GT1 certainly is capable of using a VUDU app. It uses a more powerful processor than the Boxee Box. And the Boxee Box has a Vudu app which is superb.

Google Chrome to access VUDU? I have a Logitech revue(lol) but I use my xbox360 to watch my movies off VUDU since Flixster cannot play all the Ultraviolet movies I d2d.

            Mikeylito,

as far as i know, all GTV products, i myself have a sony GTV settop as well as a logitech revue, use the "movies" by flixter" app to access both VUDU and Ultraviolet movies. i have plenty of my movies that i d2d'd all in HD/HDX formats and i have yet to have a problem watching any of them, however, be aware that since this is a fairly new service, not all of the studio's will allow thier movies to be on both VUDU and Ultraviolet at the same time even though VUDU uses ultraviolet for DRM. something that UV and the studio's are working on rectifying. so there is the posibility that not all your ultraviolet movies will show up on vudu or vis-versa.

                    Re: VUDU for Google TV

I linked my Vudu to Ultraviolet and Ultraviolet to Flixter and nothing other than my one movie owned through Flixter shows up with Flixter through Google TV or a PC. It has been over 24 hours since I linked my accounts and it may be it takes longer or I have screwed something up but I can't imagine what I did if it is screwed up.

Sometimes I have to unlink and relink my UV account to Flixster for my movies to show up.
