    Bluray Digital Copy SD :'(

Is it just me or if you get a Bluray with Digital Copy the digital copy should also be HD...

My option is Bluray digital copy should be HD and DVD digital copy should be SD so should be whatever definition you bought....

As is now I've added several digital copies from blur ays and they are in SD so in order to get HD I would have to take bluray in and pay the $2 which I shouldn't have to pay, shouldn't have to make another special trip. That then ill have 2 copies of movie in my account if it even lets me add the HD version as may just not let me add to list cause already in account....

Are you referring to Ultraviolet streaming digital copy or iTunes/Windows Media type digital copy that can be stored on your PC?

I agree - I noticed the same problem this evening. I bought Green Lantern (Bluray) and when I imported it into my locker I noticed that the copy is SD... Why is this not in HD?

Yeah, an HD version from the disc that comes in your Blu-ray package would be nice but it has never been the case. However, some studios are now giving a HDX Ultraviolet version linked to Vudu.

I like this new Vudu disc to digital program because the digital copy that you put on your PC and played thru iTunes or Windows Media is like you said, SD, does not have 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound and takes up too much space on your PC. I have filled up one laptop with digital copy and started on another.

Ya just most mine that came with codes don't give you HD on VuDu either... plus I like to have a copy on iTunes as well so can watch on my Apple TV or watch on my iPad when internet is not available..

And now with iCloud don't have to store movies on computer either can just stream to my AppleTV

Yep, it seems that Sony Pictures is more generous with allowing your digital codes to translate over to VUDU HDX. Universal and Paramount have only allowed SD so far.

Paramount gives you HDX most of the time like Sony. WB and Universal are SD only.

I never cared for the normal Digital Copy program. I usually redeem them, but I had been waiting for something better to come along. It works well for Apple users, but for Windows PC + Android devices, not so much. And if my PC completely died, I'd be out of luck.
