The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     Save my Vudu! Give me an account balance.

    I requested this feature previously, and haven't seen it implemented yet, but PLEASE Vudu add in some sort of account balance feature!

    Once again I was charged and didn't know it and my wife went through the roof when she got our bank statement. There is no reason the Vudu cannot tell me how much money is left in my account **just like iTunes does**.

    Either give me a balance or at least let me know when I'm about to buy a movie that will cause my account to be charged again - a simple warning like "your account currently has insufficient funds for this purchase - do you wish to add additional funds to your account?"

    The word from my wife is this - the next time this happens, the Vudu is O-U-T.

    Why not change the Recurring Entertainment Charge to the lowest amount which is $20. You can choose between $20, $50, and $100. That way if you are at the point of being charged again it's only $20.

    Or get in the habit of checking your balance online periodically so you know how much is left. I think it's easiest though to just lower the Recurring Entertainment Charge.

      I would do both of Aaron's suggestions - keep the charge low a $20 and check your balance frequently.

      If you use the $20 charge, then you know that approximately ever 4 movies you will get a charge.

      This request has been added as a feature request for upcoming releases. We have done all we can do from this end. When it makes it in is TBD. Development has schedules for releasing new features and each new request that makes it into development has to be worked into the schedule.

      Please bear with us as we continue to improve the product.

        I agree that this would be a worthwhile feature. I submitted this feature request and, hopefully, if enough of us bug Vudu, it'll become a reality!

        P.S. Still, changing recurring charge will have to do for now -- $20 is easier to absorb for a checking account then $50 or $100.
