      Hi Dan ...

I am getting messages on both of my Sony Blu ray Disc players when Itry to play a movie "Failed to get playback information". All other video services loaded in my blu ray players are working.

Update: Both seem to be working now. Been having issues the last week or so. Movies stop playing while watching giving message "unable to stream this video, contact vudu support" ..something like that. Both players.

I'm glad this thread got started.
This is good to know that it wasn't just me as well.

I was having major problems with it trying to even stay above just SD on about every movie I played and that was with a 50 meg speed internet.

*Mine looks to be doing well*

I take that back mine is still having an issue with buffering.

I am having issues as well. Movie quits all of a sudden and doesnt come back on. I pay $$ to have to constantly start movie over and over and over and over... Lame!

Vizio HDTV M3D470KDE, UID 9782466 stays loading, blinks, and continues loading; cycle repeats over and over. Device connects to other services flawlessly.

Generally, error code 28 means that your firewall may be blocking the connection to VUDU. We would be happy to walk you through the process if you would like to troubleshoot. Have you opened ports on your router before?

13200-13299 TCP need to be opened on the IP address of your TV. You can call us as well at (888)554-VUDU if you would like to be walked through the process.

                            Hi Dan!

Thanks for taking time. The Xbox connects to Vudu without problems using the same connection (actually the same wire), and the TV set connects to other services as well, so I think there is a problem between Vudu and the TV. I already uninstalled and reinstalled Vudu but no change. I will take a look once more and will call if no progress.

                            Regards,

Update: Tried same configuration as the Xbox, I even put the TV into the DMZ, but no luck.
