    Hi Southpaw,

I don't know the answer to that - my ignorance is showing .
Does A also provide the list on their website or is it only available on third party websites?

I do respect your due diligence however: it's perfectly fine to get all the facts before pulling the trigger. I was just suggesting that part of getting the facts is to test drive the unit (and of course, if you can do it with the other devices you're interested in, by all means, do it so you get a real feel of what the user experience is like). User experience is something that you will have a hard time getting a feel for from a fact sheet.

    Cheers,

Sounds like it's time to bring back PlanetVudu.com. It was a website that was started up a while ago before Vudu launched. Now, it points to a forum on PlanetReplay.com that's dead..

To answer Greg's question: A does not provide information on the number of movies. Someone with too much time on his hands counts up the movies and posts them on a 3rd party site.

Re: Considering Vudu - part 2

Lat night I was thinking about how we could get the site going and, I think, if we do it, we should also keep a permanent record of collections. So, if I wanted to see which movies were in "Heist" collection, I could go to the site later even after it disappears.

Also, since there are way too many SD titles, we can just index HD movies and TV shows. For TV shows, we should list what season(s) are available too.
