    Twitter application problem

    I have a Toshiba TV and am trying to use the Twitter application. I get an error message indicating that it cannot sign onto the account, e.g.

    Error getting user by 'id' 'Could not authenticate with OAuth'

    How (or where) do I change the username and password that it uses for the Twitter account?

    Same problem Here. I've been contacting VUDU support for weeks and they are no capable of solving this, until now. Did you solve the issue?

      Sorry, I have not been able to solve this issue, it looks like Vudu does not want to support their customers when they have an issue, not cool.

            Sounds like they've changed their mind, if they did in the past. What kind of help would you expect for a service that is no longer offered?

              After 26+ formal communications with VUDU customer support and 5 different Reps, they are still not capable to solve this problem. Actually I have 2 devices under the same account presenting the same Issue and they only have been capable of recommend: "resetting the devices". They also insist that they don't Offer support to this "Twitter app", but actually, this function is part of their VUDU HD MOVIES APPLICATION, as far as I can understand.

                      Hmm, if it's anything like what they allow with facebook, you have to go to your account through a web browser to link your facebook/twitter, then you can share (or tweet) movies you watch. I think that is the extent of the interaction in most of the Vudu apps (true for my devices, PS3, XBox, and Samsung Blu-ray player). I hope that is helpful.

                        Thanks for your recommendation, but UNLIKE to the Facebook link on Vudu.com, the Twitter Icon is JUST TO FOLLOW @vudufans in Twitter, not to CONNECT the Twitter account to the VUDU account.
                        When I click on the Tweeter Icon on Vudu.com, I can sign in to MY TWITTER WEB SITE with no problem, but this action do not allows to CONNECT my Twitter account to my VUDU account.
                        After 20 days of totally useless recommendations from the Vudu Support Dept, they say they have escalated my case to their engineers.
                        If they solve it, I will post the solution here.

                          Vudu Cust. Support finally responded they no longer support those apps whether it is Twitter, CNN, or any other app that we may see. Case unsolved.

                            They probably stopped supporting it because twitter recently changed the API to decrease the number of connections allowed. If that is the case, then they should remove it from the application.
